I know there is sort of an unwritten rule that GMs don't get the axe during the season, but how many of you want to see the guy who has assembled this bunch as a lame duck handling our trade deadline?

I'd say keep him until the end of the season. Darcy's trades aren't what's bad it's just his hesitation that he manages with. He'll overvalue his own players and get something good back in return but that's about it. A new gm can come in after this season and clean it up.

I know you are kidding but that would be a solid Darcy move. We need offense and we take a goalie. And since it takes goalies 5 years to mature and they are the hugest crapshoot of draft choices it will be noronen 2.0

Nobody does. We all hope Darcy gets fired asap. Get a real GM in here to trade out the vets and get the rebuild started

Rolston has coached 2 games, not 50 not 100, two games. Saying he will be looking for a job this summer is stupid. You guys are acting like a bunch of girls. his trades may not be "bad" but he rarely makes any trades of significance that make any actual impact. It's his lack of trading that has hurt this team most

Apparently nobody saw him yelling at the guys saying "come on boys, let's go" during the game. They expect him to poop himself during a press conference.

Porter is useless on this team... besides being the the poster boy for Rolston from Rochester, this guy gets more ice time than Grigo or Foligno? He doesn't have speed and seems overmatched on every shift. Grigo should be on the PP long before Gerbe... WTF? I mean, I play hockey and all, but why is this stuff so obvious to the fans and yet it eludes the minds of this coaching staff? Grigo needs ice time to build his confidence, which in turn will allow his skills to shine through. This isn't rocket science. I mean, what do they have to lose at this point?! The poor kid should have been allowed to return to Juniors so he could enjoy the game. I'd seriously dump Hecht for Mancari or Flynn and play either alongside Porter to see if they have any chemistry from their time together in Rochester. Thankfully, they finally put Scott in the press box... and it just so figures to be when they could have actually used him to throw some punches at the end.

Gerbe s done stick a fork in him.They should waive him hope he clears waivers and let him play in Rochester.He d make a good role model for the kids but hes just too small to compete at this level.

I think many here are hoping for a new GM.

That means a new coach 90% of the time.

I think it'd be hard for Rolston to take the step back, but by all accounts he's done we'll in Rochester, so it'd be good to keep him.

Just ask teams like the Blackhawks and Penguins. I think it speaks for itself. Completely bottoming out is the best thing that could happen to this team

Yeah and he'll probably act that way the entire time he's coach. It was said before that we'll rarely see this guy show a lot of emotion behind the bench. He's more of a reserved guy who will address things inside the locker room.

Not every single coach has stand up on the bench and scream every game, especially when he's been an NHL coach for a grand whopping 2 games. Don't you think the guy may be a little nervous?
