I'm really starting to like Finley. I would keep playing Finley and Hickey. I always liked Martin.

I respectfully disagree .... I think as soon as Carkner is healthy big Fin is upstairs.

Garth could not understand or did not want to understand Howie's point about muscle on JT's line.

My grades for this game.

Nabby A+ JT A+ ....
Hickey and Hamonic... A
Grabner A-
Mac and Mc donald... B +
Streit, Boyes, Martin, Casey Cizikas B
Aucoin, Moulson, Boyes, Amack, Vis Reasoner C -

Finley D Bailey D
Okposo D-

This sounds dirty to me but Butch actually did a good job tonight. He called out bailey for not stopping in front of the net, was aware of what was going on most of the times on the ice, didn't screw up too many names. ... Did he quit drinking for Lent?

Great game... Okposo still driving me nuts, Bailey has to crash the net and stop playing dumb.... Finley is unreal slow.

so happy we have someone other than DP going tomorrow. we are 1-0 AD (after DP)

{All you Ranger lovers... how is their tremendous depth looking these days? I don't like to kill a team with injuries .. but all I heard about was how they did Everything right... they are a 1 line team.. with a great goalie who they live or die with every game).

Their frontrunner fans still think they will win the cup.

I kept thinking this guy has a Masters degree? I really want to see the Isles with a real shot of the playoffs at the deadline to see what Snow does.

Was he bad tonight? Maybe that Blonde had me distracted.

He played well.. positionally, but he is very very very slow. If we were not playing Buffalo he would have been exposed. I would rather just about anyone else on the ice b/c of his speed. took a dumb penalty too.

I thought his skating was pretty good for a big guy? That penalty was dumb though. All I know is after Chara I hold on to this kid and give him a real shot.

The hustle & skill Martin showed tonight on the PK did not go unnoticed.

That's a big reason why that line was out there for power play late in 3rd

Chara had and still does have one of the sickest work ethic in the league. He works out non stop to get better. It was one of the reason they drafted him in the first place. Dad was an olympic greco roman wrestler and they saw how hard he worked on his game and how much he kept improving. not saying Finley can't do that..... but Chara is ..well.... Chara.

No question about Chara's work ethic. If Finely is willing to work at this game he can be very productive. I just hope he gets the time and I hope he keeps getting playing time. If he starts playing lousy then he needs to sit. I just think the Isles need that size on D.

Finley already looks much better now than he did 4 weeks ago. He is a pretty smooth skater for a big guy . Isles depth on D is much better than its been in a while. Somehow we need to drug visnovsky and his agent and get them to sign an extension

Don't see Viznovski staying past this year but you never know. He seems to be their best defenseman. I would like to see what it would take to get Joe Pavelski from San Jose...even Clowe would be good even might be suspended for 6 games...

I agree he does look better. I think it will be very tough to keep Vish. I'd love to see what this team can do this year by picking up an O'Reilly type or another solid d man.

Agree...a forward who plays RW and C would be great...Joe Pavelski...fits the bill...would be tough to get though...Clowe might be available...

I think Snow really needs to strike. DP was sent down and the team is playing better but try to bring someone in that can help this team this year.

Nabby made 5 unbelievable saves then when isles finally scored, we took over the game. JT is tied for NHL lead in goals.

Finley has definitely improved his play. I the martin cizikas macdonald line.

Great game and this was by far our best Defensive effort. we cleared guys from crease and clear all the rebounds.

what do you do tomorrow. Start Poulin? Nabby has been red hot but he havent been very good playing 2 nights in a row.

With No DP we could possibly string together a few wins in row.

Reasoner did play good game tonight but he is not better than Ullstrom.

Bailey needs to get a goal. I think after that, he will go off.

I think Bailey is more a playmaker. And some of his passes shows that he has great vision. I rather him on the first line than Boyes, but as Snow said "Boyes is doing a great job"
