When a team gets 4 power plays and has a few talented guys they are going to get chances. Nabby has done what he needs to do tonight for this team to be successful. With better than average goaltending, the isles can win games. They score almost as much as anyone |

How about Stafford for Okposo...two underachievers trading uniforms...both have the same number... - kear20
Okposo is so (frank)ing bad, he really has become hard to watch. |

I know you feel Nabby was responsible for a few losses. I'm not a fan of the guy in fact I dislike him. I'm sicillian, I hold grudges but I will say what i've been saying since the beginning of the season. Nabby has stolen more games then he gave away, our defense is atroucious and they have left him hi and dry more than I can count. Our 5 on 5 play has been I believe the worst in the league right along with the Sabres. The guy has been the steadiest goaltender we've had in some years. If not for him our record would probably be worse, i know you don't agree but I'll agree to disagree with you on this one. |

How about Martin blowing by Erhoff? Pretty sick, his skating has gotten so much better since last season. Okposo should take notes. |

Good team win tonight. Very impressive. I know buffalo sucks ass, but it was a good team win. Coaching too. Stuck up for team late in game. |

The extra curricular stuff could ultimately play a bigger role in the development of the team than the win itself. Finley and Martin adding some 'tude' |

Yeah, she's a piece. Been distracted by her all night. GF pointed her out to me like I needed her to do that |

Agreed, would be nice if Finley continued to play a more agressive role. He's got some size, hopefully he continues to develop. Like the fact that Marting took a run at Miller after they took a run at Nabby, nice to see these guys sticking up for each other. |

The hustle & skill Martin showed tonight on the PK did not go unnoticed.

They won tonight, because they played defense from the beginning of the game- they got running around a bit on the last PK in the 2nd, before they scored the two quick ones, and they made a mistake here and there, but by and large they covered the front of the net- MacDonald actually saved the best chance the Sabres had, other than Stafford's shot on that PP. Most important, as I said, they started from the opening face off covering their own zone for once, and Nabokov was outstanding. If this team learns to ALWAYS play defense first, they'll win more than they lose, guaranteed. They have the talent to take advantage of mistakes on offense- they have no reason to force things.
BTW- that Tavares goal looked like one of those things that usually happens to our team......let's all stand around and watch the forward skate out in front without doing anything. Let's hope that message has finally gotten through. |

Love the kid, I think it's only a matter of time till he starts putting a couple in. Nothing crazy but a 8-12 goal guy and an absolute force if this team ever makes the playoffs |

Brad Richards is a good player but he's way overpaid. He more of a #2 center than a #1. |

My grades for this game.
Nabby A+ JT A+ ....
Hickey and Hamonic... A
Grabner A-
Mac and Mc donald... B +
Streit, Boyes, Martin, Casey Cizikas B
Aucoin, Moulson, Boyes, Amack, Vis Reasoner C -
Finley D Bailey D
Okposo D-
This sounds dirty to me but Butch actually did a good job tonight. He called out bailey for not stopping in front of the net, was aware of what was going on most of the times on the ice, didn't screw up too many names. ... Did he quit drinking for Lent?
Great game... Okposo still driving me nuts, Bailey has to crash the net and stop playing dumb.... Finley is unreal slow.
so happy we have someone other than DP going tomorrow. we are 1-0 AD (after DP)
{All you Ranger lovers... how is their tremendous depth looking these days? I don't like to kill a team with injuries .. but all I heard about was how they did Everything right... they are a 1 line team.. with a great goalie who they live or die with every game). |

I'm really starting to like Finley. I would keep playing Finley and Hickey. I always liked Martin. |

Makes me even more angry that we lost the last game to Buffalo. Killed them that game and just got severely out goalied. |
