Comments from the Flyers board about Malkin:
Malkin plays a dirty/chippy/nasty a game as any star level player in the league, not saying for a minute that the Flyers don't have guys that can be nasty, as well.
=======
That is B.S. He is as dirty as they come.

I've almost stopped hating them and just take it as they are the short bus riders of life. Probably the water in Philly or all the fat women.
Kings in old school Purple if you have center ice.
Oddly enough the Penguins were remarkably healthy before Geno went down.
However when a Penguin gets hurt it is devastating. Sid, Tanger, Geno. |

Some other quotes from Flyers and Leafs fans:
Man, I hate that team...
- Flyfreaky
As long as they continue to employ Matt Cooke, they can lose every player they have, for all I care.
Somewhere, Marc Savard is smiling.
-Leeman4Gilmour
I find it funny actually...but it seems like there is so much hate..

Hopefully the brain rattle makes Malkin forget how to take stupid ass offensive zone penalties.
Move Neal up with Sid. Put Kunitz back with Beau and Sutter on line 2.
Get well soon Malkin. |

I like the idea of puting Neal with Crosby and slide Kunitz to the 2nd to play with Sutter and Beau. This way we'd spread the wealth. I think Neal's skill set is perfect to play with a playmaking C. Kunitz can play with anyone IMO. |

wouldn't mind if his salary wasn't so high..+ there's always the cost of acquiring him. |

It's an odd thing to even think about. Aside from us having an injury or Malkin flat having said he'd never re-sign here I would never have thought O'Reilly would be a possibility. I wonder, given the Avs situation---basically at his mercy---if they'd take something meager but reasonable and let him go. The Penguins could let him play out the year and he may have leveraged himself a great deal elsewhere once the year is up. I think it's highly unlikely but something to think about. Ultimately I see Shero being very patient since we don't know how long things could go. The organization has seen enough of this sort of situation to know they can't rush it. If there is a deal done I'd assume its for a veteran and not a hot name |

UNDER THE RADAR
Russian winger Anton Zlobin, a sixth-round pick in last June's draft, has become an interesting darkhorse prospect in the Penguins organization.
His size (5-11, 198), strength and skating are questionable, but he's fifth in scoring in the Quebec Junior Hockey League with 82 points in 52 games for Val-d'Or. Two weeks ago, he had three goals and 12 points in a four-game stretch.
Hope this Ovi fan turns out to be a top 6/ two way player goal scoring guy |

QMJHL is a wide open league. High point totals for its players is the norm. Don't read too much into it. |
