if you could have predicted before the game imagine the worst case scenario for tonight.

Never in my wildest nightmare could I have imagined possibly losing Girardi and McDonagh to long term injuries.

This is a brutal

Yeah, I don't think they'll be looking to trade Staal right now. Good lord man.

I went toe to toe with you before, its not worth it. You have you're opinion & I or others have mine (ours), you have right to vent on this team, Torts, this is a nightmare right now. Last thing we need is us good Ranger fans fighting amongst ourselves.

Ok sorry your right. Didn't mean to be so combative it's just I'm usually met with such harshness it got me on the defensive.

No trades necessary. Fire Torts and see what happens. Season could be lost anyway.

Hypothetical says jets called and want to shake up team plus the race issues that seem to be underlying with the city and Kane and said. We will give you Kane and Bogosian for Staal and Krieder what would you say? Maybe jets have to add pick?

I don't know how much that helps us that much. Yes, Kane is certainly an upgrade over Kreider but Bogosian hasn't produced as anticipated offensively and isn't as trustworthy in my opinion on D as Staal. And Actually I have to think Winnipeg would be the one wanting more because of Kane.

Looks like I missed a nightmare of a game tonight. Just seems like one of those seasons.

Therrien was fired 57 games into the season for a Penguins team with much more talent than the Rangers and no injuries to speak of, and there was no lockout.

Honestly guys, you may be right that Torts should be fired, but he will not be fired 17 games in.

Come on now, talking crap months after your team was picking 3rd? We haven't picked higher than 10th in 8 years. Montreal has had two top-fives in the draft since then.

There is no life in this team. The PP still sucks. Nash being out is not the problem. Gabby was benched because he took a penalty. Torts is crushing this guy. A 40 goal scorer. The team has become stale. You can't fire the players, right?

And who would they even hire? Ruff is a good coach but he can probably use some time away. Ron Wilson? Ted Nolan would be my guy. Controversial but a great coach.

But Torts ain't getting fired anytime soon.

Idk they are under .500 and I read he had rift with coach at some point. Just sort of throwing hypotheticals out there. I look at struggling teams and see if there is a match. Both teams might need shake up. Maybe Boyle, Staal and pick?

I don't see it and I don't think it's warranted. To me he has enough equity to finish this season and get a start into next season. Hell, this team is still well within reach of a playoff spot. Crossing our fingers that the injuries are minor and we get most or all of our key players back this next week. No need to panic and call for Torts' head when we are all exasperated with a couple of poor performances and a start slower than we want (not necessarily what I expected though).

Attitude reflects leadership. The players attitude is directly related to its leadership. Torts must go

Yea I don't think so either. But this team is in real trouble if they don't get some of these key guys back soon

So has it been confirmed that Mcdonagh has a concussion and Girardi has a busted ankle?
