Great play by our skill-less thug to strip the puck and make a perfect pass to Jeffrey.

Big fan of Drew Shore's. He is a former Pioneer, like myself.

I like this timeout by HCDB. Good time to review the need to play situational hockey. |

Not going to argue. I don't think it's even close. Reading some of Disco's comments, don't think he agree's. |

Oshie once again gets overrated by members of this board, Plus, I don't want a former member of the Fighting Snott on the roster. - Oneonta Penguin
I'm not saying he's a sniper that will net 40+ goals with Crosby. But he's a younger more skilled Kunitz. His hands are better and has a better shot. He's the type of player Crosby or geno could use |

If Malkin is injured he can certainly play 2nd line center too. Hate to bring it up but they don't have an update on Malkin yet. Could be nothing. Could be whiplash. Could be something else. No clue. |

If I was a betting man I would say concussion.
“@JoshYohe_Trib: Malkin had trouble walking straight while going to the locker room. Wouldn't expect him to return tonight.” |

Jeffrey scored at 15:15 mark. He wears 15. The Penguins and their numerology. Never fails. |

Unfortunately I have to agree. He whipped back hard when he crashed into the boards. Hope he's okay. |

Whiplash and possible concussion based on what I saw. I thought we played a more complete game in the third after the Malkin hit. |

Flyers beat the pens in a sloppy game. Then panthers beat the flyers. Then the pens beat the panthers in a tight game. Gotta love the NHL |

Good game Pens. I was surprised we had good legs tonight and were making the smart play most of the time. Back to backs usually are poor efforts from us but tonight I felt like the effort was there all night.
In the end too much time in our defensive zone took the toll in the third period. Markstrom looked real solid except for the 2nd goal which he will say he should have had.
See you next Tuesday! |

Didn't see the Hossa hit. the speed and whipping action of his head and neck were frightening. Hopefully you are right, wake up and life is fine for him. He has my prayers for sure. |

Philly always craps the bed against lesser competition after beating Pittsburgh. The Pens seem to win lots of tight games against Florida. It's been that way for a while.

The Malkin play looked fairly harmless until his head whipped. Hope its nothing serious, but we will see.
I'm glad Bennett didn't get that assist, I'm hoping when he scores it will be something to remember, not a gift assist.
Not overly impressed with the Penguin effort. If Markstrom doesn't whiff on Nisky's shot this game was going to come down to the wire.
I'll take the 2 points and hope Malkin isn't hurt too seriously. |
