Ian Cole was their best D man before last years draft and he isn't anything special. Redden is old and Jackman doesn't like as good as he has been before. And shattenkirk isn't a big shutdown guy.

Understandeable. Problem is that that's essentially how Boychuk was playing. Neither one has scored often. A bigger body might be more ideal. Kunitz was the perfect line mate for them.

I'd like to see Bennett get a little more down and dirty along the boards. Every time he is around a board battle it looks like is just skating behind waiting for the puck to squirt out

He's got to get going. I'd say let the kid play for a few games before sending him back to the A (it's a matter of "when"). He's not physically ready and we all can see this.
