I am glad not saying its any better who we play against but T-VO is a panther killer!
- Crazycaboose

For sure. Florida has Theodore in net tonight right? I'm asking for Fantasy Hockey purposes.

hey, you guys played well ... no question about it. It just didn't help that we sucked on defense.

I hope you guys kick the Pens ass, btw.

I feel like this is your home now. Has this placed turned into a bridge? How much does it cost to cross?

How did it feel to beat the crap out of Philly?
- Orpik44

I wouldn't say we beat the crap out of them. What they did to us in our first game against them was an ass kicking. But it was great to see them put a full game out there hasn't happened much this season.

I have been told markstrom is getting the start and Theo backing him up.

That's because most of us Flyer fans are bipolar. When we win it's because we're great ... when we lose it's because we suck.

But it's always about the Flyers. The other team rarely enters into the equation.

Oh man...thanks. I have Fleury in and Theodore too. I guess that cuts my stats down a lot. Quick isn't playing with Kings off.

I'm looking for him to have a much better game. He can't be happy right now. I wouldn't want to be out there wearing a different uniform I can tell you that much...and I'm bigger than he is.

Honestly can say I have lost respect for Karlsson. He expected Cooke to hit him hard into the boards? Will if that was his intention, then along with accidentally cutting him, Cooke would of extended his arms and crushed him, which he didn't.

I am missing what your point is. Where did I say anything about wishing for a panther to get checked?

funny comment.

Just don't get too close to Philly fans. They hate us and will always want us to lose.

True. Orpik looked very slow last game against the Flyers. Our whole D to be honest was f'n up on the ice.

Haha

21. Upon the 1995 release of the Jean-Claude Van Damme actioner Sudden Death — about a terrorist attack during Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals — Jaromir Jagr was reportedly unhappy that a Penguins player wearing his No. 68 jersey was on the ice for three of the opposing team’s goals, making “him” a minus-3.

More offensive is the realization that Mike Lange is only on the radio. That and Steiggy is on ROOT.
Not to mention how Luc Robitaille is made to look like the team's biggest star.

Steiggy did have a very funny---one word line in it though. I love that movie.

I thought Martin played well. Aside from that there was barely controlled chaos. A lot of chances for both sides. Neither side can be happy about it. Good news is if we win tonight it's essentially an eraser for all 3 teams because they beat us and then lost to Florida.

Yeah. From watching that movie the average fan would come away with the impression that Jagr didn't really care about playing defense. Total fiction, right?

Was reading an article on TIOPS about how Jeffrey's real value will be in that if the Penguins decide to let TK walk this summer, he can step into the 3rd-line at about 1/4th the cost ($575K v. $2M).

Kinda have to agree. A 3rd-line of Jeffrey-Sutter-[Cooke/comparable grinder UFA] would be solid 3rd-line & free up some Cap space for another Top-6 F. Might need a little more sandpaper on that line, but its a start.

Seems that would make sense out of why they aren't playing him much. Wouldn't want to have him burn you for more if he plays well. Don't rule out TK being moved though. Things change.

10 different GMs are in the building tonight for the game. St. Louis was mentioned by name though. I know this probably means nothing. If anything they are getting a look at Florida, but I can't help but imagine Chris Stewart on this team. No idea what he'd cost being an RFA and playing well though.
