if the Isles faulter this year yet again, anyo Burke could replacene think there is any chance that Burke could replace Snow this summer as GM? Burke proved with the Leafs that he's lousy at re-building a team from ground up but he did prove in Anaheim that if he inherits a team with already good pieces, he can make them a contender. So the Isles have great pieces in place, so Burke might be able to push them finally over the edge. Snow has done well but just not good enough.
Is this the only positive you can take from your team? I'm not getting into an argument, just found it funny Hope the Leafs can make the Playoffs! - Orpik44
There's plenty of positives, they're in a playoff position despite being one of the youngest teams in the league, missing two top-6 wingers, a top-4 d-man, and their #1 goalie.
Their biggest contributors are their young guys, who have bright futures.
Both goalies are young and doing awesome.
Team finally has an identity, and is playing a great defensive system.
I just reposted that stat, because it seems to have struck a nerve with mr. killian, after a jab about the Leafs' goaltending by a Penguins poster.
ok well you can talk when your team wins a cup again...my guess would be that it will be another 46 years...na, they probably still won't win won by then

We've got Burke's team out there right now, looking pretty awesome.
