Same can be said for every team facing the haters. It's much easier to find fault.

15 games into said career ive heard the oilers are dumb and shoulda picked galchenyuk or murray.
Same last year about landeskog over rnh ( even when rnh had more pts in 20 less games)
Same year before over seguin and hall.( even tho hall is one of the only physical, reckless style players we have in our top 6 and has a better ppg on a much worse team)

All those players are good, but it's so much easier to hate. Itd be the other way around if we went in another direction.
" u passed on rnh??! And didnt pick yakupov??!!" Idiots

Damned if u do, damned if ya dont

Pretty much.

I'm just amazed at the complete turnaround for some people's opinions of Lu.

For those who believe Shanahan suspended Hansen based on Hossa injury...he didn't. NHL knew he wasn't severely hurt. Suspended based on act.

As it should be.

So, I'm up against Immature Male in Ian's pool this week, I have more than my required 3 starts this week and lead in all goalie categories, should I risk starting Rinne tonight to get my GAA and S% down a bit?

Yeah, honestly the Canucks don't dive any more than other teams at this point, it's just the microscope, the reputation and the perception. A couple of years ago it was probably true, but they've toned it down big time as a group IMO.

Ya i suppose.I only bring it up cause i have an american sattelite,so inorder to watch the games in HD i have to watch and listen to the US feed. The play by play guy and his side kick are usally all very biased against us,especially the penalty calls, Can be fun to watch but at other times......

Man, have you ever had the pleasure of the Boston announcers? Jack Edwards I think is his name. Anyway, he's the pure embodiment of ridiculous. If I manage to get to Boston to do so research then I'll have to find out where he lives so that I can punch him...

Same goes for Rick Jeanarret next time that I'm near Buffalo

I agree but when you see Hall only get 2 games for what he did ,YOU know there's more involved .example .What would it be if it were reversed(Clutterbuck hit on Hall.)No less than 10 games i bet.
Suspension is based more than just act.

Watch his video. It stated clearly that the player was injured and that was a factor. Or else let it alone, it's a moot point now.

maybe because I didn't have a roster spot open for him?

Could be, I'm not 100% sure though. I'm sure Scooby is pretty familiar with the rules or someone like Fosco/Bieksa.

I'd bench him just in case, are you in the lead for wins too? This is why I wanted a 4 start minimum for our pool since I wanted everyone to play their goalies otherwise you could just get away with a couple of good starts and not play your guys the rest of the week.

Man, we REALLY need to work on our transition game, and play hard from the get go... Luongo/Schneider should NOT be having to make these kinds of saves this early in the game.

Is whooping a mod's ass in a hockey pool a ban-able offence?

Shots 13-3 for the Preds, it might be boring but Trotz gets it done.

For sure, but you gotta work with what you're given. It's probably easier to watch for their fan since they're pretty familiar with it and they know it's the way their team has to play. I remember Luongo's first season here was very similar and a lot of people thought that this team overachieved that year and got a lot of praise. I'm not a fan of that style at all personally, but for the budget teams it's pretty hard to play a skill, offensive game.
