Bolland playing like crap???.....Stalberg can't finish??? With all do respect every one we just set a record. Every one has bad games but every one on this team at one time or another has had there moment, some more than others.....you cannot justify making a change to the lines right now until they hit a rough streak...did I read dropping Bolland down to the 4th line....seriously? Stalberg does so much along the boards and has improved his game without the puck ten fold....he deserves a pat on the aSs.......

Borderline hit by Shaw, but just a minor penalty with no injury. Boarding yes, suspension no.

Clowe did come off the bench and got a 2 and 10 for it. No way it was a shift change with 8 seconds in the period and the puck about to be shot into the open net. League will look at leavin the bench.

Linesmen did a good job of keeping the crap to a minimum tonight.

Just rewatched the game from the point where he takes the penalty. He comes out of the box and helps clear the zone and then changes. He looks no worse for the wear; his last shift. Can't explain it.

With all due respect, records are meaningless in the regular season. It is a great achievement and I am happy they did it. They are playing pretty well now, but there are still a few question marks that needs to be shored up. Enjoy the record, but keep your eye on the prize.

And add stan looks to be in the running for gm of the year

That may be true, but me personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a little shakeup. I would prefer:

19-81-65
16-88-10
36 (if healthy)-20-25
67-13-29

Also, wouldn't mind seeing Stals, Bicks, or Frolik used as trade bait to better the team.

Yeah, they're certainly exceeding expectations; Krueger, Shaw, Leddy. Saad with the big goal tonight. Don't get me wrong if they have the chance to improve the lineup do it. Just not a lot to dislike right now.

While Foley may have been overly gushy on Stanbo, essentially he was right on. When you have as much money locked up in the core guys, splashy free agent signings aren't realistic. Shouldn't need them either with our core. Just need to find guys to plug in around them. Love the way the whole team is playing D right now!
