JJ, RE #88 I have nothing to add, but it does seem to me that he has figured out that he is a man and not a boy anymore. Even in the manner he gives interviews, it seems to me that he has taken an important step. And good for him. I know if the press was after me when I was in my early 20s they could have made me look like a complete Richard, and they would have been right most of the time. I want to hope for the best for that kid. - DirkGraham
It could be worse. We could be stuck with the NBC broadcast team for every game. I cringe when I hear Emerick, MacGuire or Milbury's voice. - Lash8
Very true; the other night though when VAN shot the puck about 5ft away and landed in Emery's chest; I had to laugh listening how it was a great save from those two. Last time I checked Emery isn't hollow sooooo
Awful, also Ken Kal (Detroit radio guy), Bobby "the Chump" (er, I mean "Chief") Taylor (TB tv color guy—biggest homer announcer in hockey) . . . - John Jaeckel
That would be Jack Edwards. He and Tyson Nash are the worst, IMO.
Having Center Ice, I catch a bit of every team, some more than others. For all their faults, it could be a lot worse than Pat and Eddie O. I like the Florida Panthers guys, the Dallas guys are good, too. The LA Kings play-by-play guy is excellent.

Yeah Edwards takes the cake for homerism. I've found I don't mind the Nashville guys, some of the guys on TSN are very good.
Millbury was a horrendous GM and even worse broadcaster now.
Pierre McGuire - the best word to describe him is vapid.
I have to disagree on Emerick. I think he knows the game and brings an energetic vibe to each broadcast. - furso27
I hear the "knowledge of the game" argument about Emerick, and I have a hard time buying it. I won't deny his enthusiasm, but when he has catch phrases that he uses all the time like "DRIVE" and "he regathers the puck", I question this hockey knowledge that people talk about.

Man i lived out in Boston for 9 years and listening to Jack Edwards would get me so pissed, what a clown!!! The Bruins could do no wrong with him calling the game along with that sweater vest wearing buffoon Dale Arnold...

Part of it is being informed to ask about alternative non addictive medicines
Im about to start radiation treatments and my biggest concern is getting addicted to the pain killers. You finish one battle and have to start the next recovery from the drugs used to tolerate the pain - molly2522

Good luck to you, Molly.... - StLBravesFan
Good Luck to you to Molly. Just to go on a serious note here I myself was hospitalized for 3 months (long time ago). Not really sure how the cancer (Is it cancer?) thing works, but from watching movies you get to go home from time to time which is not bad. Gravel was the best drugs ask for that.
Agree with everything here Ogi...except...i love the Chisox black uni's...but damn those must be uncomfortable during day games in July and August.
As the Hawks...nothing better to me than seeing the Chicago Blackhawks come out on Hockey Night in Canada..in any city...and see those TOP PHUCKING NOTCH Red unis under them national lights...COAST TO COAST

Late to the party--not reading all the posts . . . . But since you guys are talking sweaters, please bring back the CCM straight hem. I have gotten used to the Reeboks, I guess, but that hem is terrible--and bring back white at home--please!

Butt phucking ugly. Almost as bad as the White Sox all black or the Cubs all Blue. I hate black, it's the most over used uniform color. Too many teams, when they decide to make a uniorm tweak, just add black. The 49ers, Lions, Mets, all come to mind off the top of my head (there are mny more) as teams who have added black accents. Then there's the Kings and Penguins who switched from Purple and Blue respectively to black as the featured color. It's been done...over done in fact. At least the winter classic version had some historical context to justify its use. If it's not a retro stye jersey I'd just assume they stick to red and white. - Ogilthorpe2
How about these from the '55-'56 season? The first year of the classic Hawk look.
