Have to wonder why the Flyers would give those brain dead morons access to interview Bryzgalov? Nothing good can come from it.

Actually no, I hate that show. I am a fan of theoretical physics though.

There are 22 dimensions. It's like twisting a roll of paper and then putting the ends together...which is really just a perversion of 2 dimensions. Also, useless until they invent time travel/faster-than-light travel.
- jmatchett

Could be awhile. And I'm sort of on board with Stephen Hawking's idea that time travel to the past may be naturally impossible.

I'm Irish and Italian, and I have zero issue with ethnic humor. I have a big issue with malicious ethnic humor.

What Barkann did was childish and served to further his agenda-milk a pro athlete in the city for every bit of airtime they can and get fodder that can be stretched into unflattering sound bites or to make fun of somebody out of spite.

My Ma is of Protestant Irish-Scot background, and my Dad Catholic born in northern Italy.

The stories of when they met each others families are classic.

Seemed like it was supposed to be a promo for a Bryz signing this weekend.

Ahh.. Didn't know that. I didn't hear the interview. Have read they were just making fun of Bryzgalov.

I remember the days when Barkann called tennis for USA Network.

I also agree with Dr Hawking. Not about time travel of string theory, but that I enjoy kinky swinger sex parties.

Yea must have said about 5 times about the freaking signing at KOP on Sunday.

The thing that really bothered me was the way they tried to trap him with certain questions and Ike laughing at his english.

My kids are screwed. I'm the aforementioned Irish-Italian mix, my wife is Polish and Lithuanian.

I told the kids, you better grow a thick skin and learn to dish out as well as you can take. My 8 year old is being a wise ass at a 10th grade level. Very proud of her.

Ethnic jokes are starting to die out. I never got teased for being Ukrainian. ''Jew'' jokes were big when I was in High School.

It's not all about the numbers. Not saying we didnt do well in that trade but how can you deny that Richards brings and element to the team that we're lacking right now. The closest we came to the Richards' element was Giroux's shift in the pens series last year.
- Trainfellow

His shift against the pens was just as large and important as Richards shift against the Habs.

Richards was also the Captain for 3 years vs the half of year that Giroux has had...

I would do both of those trades again in a second..They gained more youth, talent, potential and output then they would have by keeping them.

I always go teased. By friends, parents...we didn't care because none of it was malicious.

The same kid that called me a "common Italian slur" would be right next to me if I got into a fight, even after we grew up and did our early 20's Hellraising.

I'm coaching my wife on how to tell people to pronounce her new last name.

She was hobnobbing at a town commerce meeting as part of her new job, meeting mayors and politicians, apparently it was funny with all of them going "Wha?".

She has a small Dutch background, which makes for an interesting mix with us.

I've been called Sa-Kay-Ya at every level of school, at jobs and in the military. Hell throughout boot camp I doubt the CC ever pronounced it correctly once. It's great when telemarketers call. I tell them if you can't pronounce my name, you're not going to get my business.

Not to be that guy, but I think there's about 20 years between us. Not trying to make you feel ''advanced''.
