It spurs talk which gets more people to listen. That's why I'm not getting on the #94WIPSucks bandwagon. Ignoring them is the smartest & most challenging option, but that's what you do with trolls.

Actually, you can. If everyone ignores the station, doesn't talk about it, doesn't mention them on Twitter or Facebook or elsewhere on the 'net, they don't get what they want - attention. Because attention means listeners, radio and internet ad money, etc.

Won't happen because of the sheep that follow their shepherd, but at least if the hockey world ignores them they won't discuss hockey because not discussing hockey is better than constantly being trashed by an ignorant and clueless organization.

I remember when they were actually a sport radio station and were quite good at it.

I am all for humor. not much bothers me. but to openly mock a guy who is taking time out of his day to talk hockey and to throw questions at him that are nothing more than fishing because you know he is an open guy speaking his second language but irks the living hell out of me

They didn't really grill him, they asked leading question designed to elicit answers they could rip apart. They asked him about "Flyers Hockey" again, then asked him to do a Borat impression.
