This team is still going to suck. Rolston likes to play tight defensive hockey. Something these players are not good at. The players are still the same the results will be the same. Not optomistic that anyone will turn this around. And if they do would it matter? Wouldnt it be the same thing as the last 2 years?

I did not mean Gerbe, but I am not opposed to seeing him sent packing either.

Anyone who thinks he's not needs mental help.... That's not to say I think he's a top notch NHL talent, but to question his skill is ridiculous.

I think if put on a line with offensive minded players and a coach who will allow that line to play, then we'd get a real sense of if he's worth keeping on the team. I don't believe he's ever had a fair shake.

This is exactly what got Lindy fired though so I hope Ron would be smarter. Don't force a team to play a style, shape your style around the team that you have. For my fellow football fans, this is what made Chip Kelly so good at oregon.

He rarely had any players go on to be great players in the NFL but he made his gameplan around each players strengths getting the most out of every guy for what they were good at, and the team worked as whole this way. There are good players on this team, and there are ok players on this team with certain skills that should be taken advantage of. Play the game to the players strengths, not the coaches philosophy. Oh and while you're at it get defensemen that actually play....you know, defense?
