agreed.. it was so odd that a coach and GM team that had been together for so long didn't understand each other.. one went after offensive players that were typically weaker and the other wanted to play a tough noised defensive game. the writing was on the wall

since Drury left there hasnt been a replacement for that and Ruff's teams haven't been good

I'm not a Sabres fan but I don't believe it was all Ruff's fault, I don't think this team is going to do much better. Sorry, all the personnel decisions made over the years doesn't help pre-Terry time. Can't pin that all on Ruff.

I respect your opinion but the players have changed over the years, the results hav e been the same, something else had to change. Players like Roy, Connolly, Pominville, Vanek, Miller needed to stop being the scapegoats.

Look at our top 6 in 09-10 and compare it to now. Our 2 leading scorers are no longer here, the same 2 (Roy,Connolly) that everyone said had no heart. Our captain was different, our defense was different.

A Lindy guy. Who was signed because he knew the system to play the 4th line and is now getting top 6 minutes on certain nights. That is a huge problem that will likely solve itself with a new coach

a lot of guys should watch out now...there is a lot of young guys waiting to get there shot that the new coach is comfortable and familar with....

What I dont like is of anyone in this case Glenn Healy know we needed a (Peca ish) center why did Lindy not tell Darcy hey I need one go get me one. If you know what yoru system needs why wouldnt you go get it?

I think this roster next year will be very young. My question is if Rolston stays does he like Mcnabb and all the other guys down on the farm.
