Lindy is a good coach for the right team.. this team wasn't built for what he wanted to do... he could probably do well in Cbus..

I agree totally. IMO, Lindy's system is built to run teams down physically, win the battles on the boards and in the corners. That will kill you when you are one of the smallest teams in the NHL.

I think the problem more then anything this season was the system with this group of players and their failure to produce with it. IMO

This team needed a change and it's started but we need to move some of the players next.

agreed.. it was so odd that a coach and GM team that had been together for so long didn't understand each other.. one went after offensive players that were typically weaker and the other wanted to play a tough noised defensive game. the writing was on the wall

their play the last 3 years shows that it's true. First we blamed Connolly, then Roy, then Pominville was being questioned, no matter who we got rid of or brought in the last 3 years the result on the ice and lack of intensity was the same

I'm not a Sabres fan but I don't believe it was all Ruff's fault, I don't think this team is going to do much better. Sorry, all the personnel decisions made over the years doesn't help pre-Terry time. Can't pin that all on Ruff.
