Tell me WHAT IS LINDY RUFFS SYSTEM. play your below average hockey players 16 to 18 minutes a game. The late Rick Martin a member at fox valley use to say,lindy ruff is the only coach in hockey who could turn a 40 or 50 goal scorer into a 20 goal scorer. All I hear is lindys system,this isn't football. You adjust a system based on personnel and what team is lacking,stop giving this master mind ruff credit for a system

Mikhail Grigorenko is scratched tonight. The kid told me Tuesday night that he thought he would be playing in Toronto. New coach same old crap. Tonight will be his 4th scratch of the season.

Not for not, but Grigorenko isnt what makes or breaks this team right now.

He shouldnt be sitting in the press box, that I agree with. I hate seeing him play so timid. I want the kid to play with confidence. Hopefully Rolston can better handle that. Its sickening to watch him slap the puck around instead of carrying it up the ice like hes capable of, and not try to fight for pucks in the corners like he can use his size and skill. Sean Couturier is the same size and he battles in corners. Grigo needs the confidence.

I already said that. Hecht,Scott,gerbe,porter all playing and 25 sitting. Anyone we knows hockey sees 55 as a horrible player. He will avoid contact at all costs. Rolston,very bad start already

You can start by looking at those 5 minutes, Ray. He hasn't impressed, and I'm not going to jump on Rolston's throat less than 24-hours into his new job.

The guy hasn't even been on the job for 24 hours. He's had one gameday skate to evaluate the players. I'm not ready to call him an idiot because he isn't playing a rookie who isn't producing. It's his job to help him produce. Let's give him at least 5 more minutes to figure it out.
