As someone who does not hate our rival Edmonton Oilers but rather enjoy your style of play and young talent.

I ask you this....

In a year where your main boys were likely the freshest coming into the regular season, What do you guys see is the problem. With so much talent You guys should easily be in the top 6-7 right now.

Is it defense....? From what I've seen Dubnyk has been great against us all year. Is there something im missing?

We allow 33 shots a game.
We don't get better quality shots than the other team.
We can't establish the zone via dump and chase.
We don't bury enough of our chances.
We don't cause a lot of turnovers.
We commit a lot of turnovers
We only have one defenseman who can skate the puck up the ice.
We only have one good shot from the point.
We have trouble walking the puck out from the corner, so we ALWAYS try to pass it accross the crease.

This is not an exhaustive list.

What would that be? Run and gun? defence?

Harti got spot top 6 time tonight. Might we see a more balanced three-line approach in the go-ahead? Good opportunity for Harti or MPS if Hall does get suspended.

Where the (frank) is Eberle? The top line is really starting to piss me off! Nuge has got to start putting up pts... Eberle was nonexistent again... (frank) this is bullpoop to watch... And to top it off smyth gets a goal the Lone (frank)ing goal... Cullen like Torres is an oiler killer! Bbc and fistric did play well tonight... Dubey did not have a great game either! Krueger is in no danger this year.

If they continue as they are, I sure as hell hope Tambellini's name starts being mentioned. The personnel issues are his fault.

I live in Edmonton, I watch almost all there games on TV. I have some observations that I think alot of Oiler fans may agree with.

-Taylor Hall IS the absolute future captain of the Edmonton Oilers, I think he's established himself as the spiritual leader of the team. He is way more noticable then Eberle, he drives aggressively, hits, gets engaged.

-The Oilers as an organization/ management, are not serious about icing a competitive team this season. I believe they are going for another draft lottery pick.

-If the Oiler management is trying there best to ice a competitive team and make the playoffs, then they should all be replaced from the top down. The Oilers have a flaud team, the roster isnt designed to win, the players drafted are only making the team form the draft lottery/first rounder, wheres the scouting, there has to be accountability. This team needs power forwards, if they dont get size, there skill will never shine through. The coaching isnt affective in compiling lines. Hartikanen should be a top six player on this team, they need his skill set in the top 6. Very frustrating and depressing to watch this team.

-The Oilers don't win puck battles, dont seperate puck, they are the antithesis of a playoff built team.

-Halls hit was defensive and clean, there was no intent, and no knee was stuck out.
