I guess. Simmonds returned in about 7-10 days from his concussion. We know what the other end of the spectrum is.

This sucks, Read was playing great.

David Perron missed a year. Chris Pronger is still out.

This shouldn't be a surprise. This team always has injuries.

I was optimistic earlier today when I was reading he might play tonight. Obviously I should have known better. It was pure speculation.

Yep. You never know with a concussion. Some guys come back quick, others linger for months.

Guess he's not playing tonight. When it comes to injuries with this team, it's usually the worst news possible. Unreal.

Six weeks with muscle injuries isn't that bad. Not compared to out indefinitely with a concussion.

And the on-going fear that any sort of contact will put him back on the IR.

Oh well. Is what it is. Plenty of talent still on hand. When Hartnell gets back it's still a deep forward group.

This type of injury is extremely painful. And that would be just for a regular 9-5 nickle and dime ham and egger. NHL hockey is about the worst profession on the planet to try and deal with this kind of injury.

It just sucks because he was playing fantastic hockey, pretty much from the get go.

Giroux's wingers are like Spinal Tap drummers. If this keeps up he will be playing with Sestitov and Rino.
