My favorite sub-plot for this game is that this will be the first Pens/Flyers game in two years where Sidney Crosby looks like Sidney Crosby again. He was not the same player in last years playoffs and same for the first game this year. He's now back to being the best player in the world.

Nothing can take back how bad we played against them in the playoffs but the Pens can do themselves a favor and prevent the Flyers from getting into the playoff picture.

It's funny, I wasn't even thinking in the context of Lavy's comment last year. I just think after a very average/tentative start to the season, Sid has been pretty dominant once again. Haven't seen that guy in a while
