Every time I watch these games i come to the same conclusion.

Being a dman and seeing Malkin flying at you has to be a horrible feeling..

He hardly played after everyone collectively clenched in the first period. prior to that his first few shifts were good. TOI for everyone was a mess tonight. Sutter only played 12:34 and a bunch of that was on the PK. Neither of the bottom D-pairing played more than 9 minutes.

You've got to wonder if it ever crosses Bylsma's mind to start benching guys when they do something stupid. I mean, they don't ever seem to learn. What are his options? How does he get his message through? That's what I always hate about a "players" coach.

I don't know. What I do know is that when I see quotes like Orpik's tonight, i get the feeling they've been told numerous times. But he needs to do something to get them to actually listen. Because game in game out they're shooting themselves in the foot.

That sucks.
People like that and his interaction with Hartnell last year only add to the insane entertainment value these 2 teams give their fans.
Hopefully he beats it and is back soon.
