I take my 93-year-old Aunt Helen shopping all day, and if that's not bad enough, I get home to this, haha.
It's a Pens-Flyers game. It's different than others. It's something to really look forward to prior to the playoffs.
The game means more to Philly than Pittsburgh, if only because it could help turn around a disappointing start.
The video from the YouTube clips are actually pretty evenly spaced out. The first two have Crosby sticking away Voracek's glove and Malkin cheap-shotting Couturier. The Schenn and Briere clips go the other way. Could have posted a 1000 clips, those popped right into my mind.
If this was an Associated Press site, things might be different, but I'm writing more as a columnist with a Pens' slant than a beat writer. I've done that before, this is more fun.
Thanks for reading, sorry if I offended any Penguins fans.

Wanted to catch up in here before game time. You know, get a sense of the mood...yowza!
John got everyone going, alright. I think that's the point, right?
You've got your hands full tonight, CPF. Best wishes.

John you could write a blog that contained nothing but the start time and someone would pop in with a problem. It's what makes this rivalry so good. No need to justify yourself or your writing style.
Anyone that reads you regularly knows this one was a little different, Flyers games are just a special occasion.
Besides, at the end of the day I'm the one you should be apologizing to for creating all the extra work. |

Are the trolls gone. I watch a 2 and a half hour movie and there's still people crying about something the pens did. BUT the flyers are always clean
Dear flyers fans,
We are still fending off senators fans for cookes massacre on Karlsson. Please wait just a little longer before trolling the pens board. |

I think there's a better chance of one of those guys joining the Pens than Jagr. |

If he could make Giroux turn into a 90 point guy, I could see Crosby getting 120 jokes apart, he'd add a lot to our team. Iginla would be my priority though. |

I can't ague. I've watched a few Dallas games this year and Jags is still very good. Slower skater, but everything else is there. He's still a master at protecting the puck. Shooting, passing....it's all there.
I've also watched some Calgary and I've got to say Iggy hasn't impressed me all that much. Has his moments, but he's not a dominant player. Of the two, I'd choose Jagr as far as pure talent...admittedly from limited viewing.
I do think Iggy would be a perfect fit in the toughness and leadership areas.....which I still think is a missing ingredient here. |

Tangent good evening before you get banned. He threatened to ban me game 1 of the season and I'm still not sure what I did. I got the tread lightly post. Power goes to the head!!!
