have you seen kule rush the puck in and drive the net once and actually get a good shot off?

not once! its mind blowing...

he is so solid and he has 0 intensity in his game, if i had his body i would be a wild animal, look at Komarov!!! kulemin needs to be hog tied and watch footage of tucker, frattin and Komarov and learn how to play like a canadian. cause thats how those guys play! canadian or not! Komarov i love this guy, maybe not getting a lot of output but he does a lot of other thigns great. his two way play and forecheck are top notch.

- big_dion

The only thing of note offensively that Kulemin has done this season is strip the puck from the Habs d-man, drive the net, and pass it to Komarov for a gimme in the first period of the 6-0 game.

I hate everything about that lousy division. It's an embarrassment to the league that it even exists.

Washington was kind of holding the joint up for a few seasons there and giving it credibility as an actual NHL-worthy division, but that's ended now. There is literally one NHL-caliber starting goalie in that division right now. How sad is that?

Lindback is clearly not ready to be a starter.

Theodore looks as bad as ever again.

Holtby/Neuvirth are capable back-ups, at best.

Pavelec is getting lit up like a cigarette in Peter Gzowski's studio this year.

And the best part? All these teams get to play each other for basically half of the year. I don't know what Winnipeg is female doging about. The travel sucks, but they have an easier time than any Canadian franchise.

- Leeman4Gilmour

Not that I really disagree with you but the division also boasts 2 Stanley Cups and 1 President's Trophy in the last 9 years. Not sure if it qualifies as an embarassment.

Yeah, he probably should have been pulled after the 3-1 goal in hindsight. Or not started at all considering his ridiculous workload lately.

I just hope Reimer is back soon. As good as Scrivens has been, I think the team looks better in front of Reimer.

Don't see Getzlaf coming here in the summer so I say trade for ROR.

Getz will resign in Ana.
It cost too much to get ROR.....not worth the price.

Kadri threw well with both hands - nice. He must have had a few fisti-cuffs in junior? You're right -I think Kadri took notes himself and even though he looked so puny in amongst those giants in the scrum I sense Hedman will fall prey to a hard forecheck in the future. Still can't believe there was no initial call.
- Your_Mom

Worse the Refs gave Orr an extra minor penalty for 3rd man in when there was already a scrum there....

Then there were 3 to 4 clear penalties when they had the extra man and no call.. when they were handing Tampa soft PP's early.

The small market team always gets the positive Ref bounce.. especially when their buildings are empty.

While Grabs is movable, his contract means we won't get much for him.

And why would we move for ROR? How is he any better at putting up points than Bozak? Does he win faceoffs like Bozak?

Man once this whole thing with Oreilly blows over we'll finally get to see what all the fuss is about.

I dont see Getz coming here either, but I would keep Kulemin over Mac. I would also have Bozak continue to be our first center, followed by ROR and Kadri.

Agreed Scrivens has played so well and then you get a game where the team coughs up the puck and leaves LeCav & Stamkos alone in front of the net for a primetime shot... and now he is poop..

The 3rd goal hop skipped and jumped.. to squirrel through.. and the last one was on a screen.. he didn't see that one till the last second...

Both goalies do well when there team mates in front of them have a good game... that is true for Reimer also...

just a little reality check here folks...

Grabovski: yes he is my lover, but lets keep in mind Grabovski has 4 goals. Kessel has 3 goals...just because his line has had a slow start - you dont just throw away your best forward in the last 3 years because of it. Yes he was better than Kessel overall, and often pushed kessel to keep it going, and also was basically the heart and soul of games vs boston and montreal.

I admit, hes gotta step it up a notch, but getting that goal last night, if i know Grabovski, and i do; he's streaky...expect him to heat up now.

and as i said before, the guys playing with 2nd/3rd line tweeners vs all the #1 lines of the opposition. Hes minus 1. Hes got 5 years left on his deal and is a versatile forward, so lets stfu about the trading of him and buy out of him, because its plain stupid, and wont happen.

thank you for reading lol.

I find it funny how many people have a hard on for this guy....

The price is way to high.. they asked NYR for two roster players, a prospect, & a 1st rounder...

Yet so many people who complained about paying Grabo 5 mil a year after a few 50+ point seasons.. want to give a guy with only one 50 pt season.. a 5 mil contract.

Hey I am with most if you can get rid of Grabo's 5 mil contract I would do it.. but I won't give up on future picks and prospects to get a guy who has at most second line prospects.

As a Hab fan, don't you mean "goaler".

First place - how did that happen?

I think the Habs should give credit to the Leafs for their unselfish acts of inspiration and motivation. As a thank you, give us the next game too.

the way i see it, if Pitty really wants Kulemin its because Malkin wants him.

that being said, they may be willing to overpay a bit...hell id even toss is a 'meh' prospect if that made the deal go through.

its a lot easier to move from center to winger in the NHL than it is to go from winger to center...with bozak being great on the draws, id keep him at C. Grabovski is so-so on the draw, but could also jump in if say...Kadri got kicked out.

Id look into that if i were Nonis, but thats just me!

No hard on just an upgrade from Bozak. I think Bozak is over valued, he's a third line center maybe second at best who plays on a line with two good players. Honestly I would switch bozak and Kadri around. Can't imagine what kind of looks Phil would have if he had Kadri drawing attention then dishing it off
