Exactly...Hedman crosschecked him minimum 2 times the 2nd one crushed him from behind..that's when Kadri tried to crosscheck his chicklets out...I wished he wouldnt have missed...to cheap shots in the back...I would have just McSorlely'd him!!!!!! - Garnie
And then Hedman called him Nuh-Zeem by mistake and Kadri went crazy on him. |

Yeah, maybe you should watch it again.
Hedman crosschecked him, Kadri got up and slashed, Hedman slashed, Kadri crosschecked... Them Kadri threw cheapshots at Hedman when Hedman was tied up with MacArthur.
Here is a link in case you need it http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/116110 - RENATO6
yes crushes him from behind with a crosscheck..then comes back and gives him another 1 as they meet and kadri gives him a little slash across the pads then hedman gives him another crosscheck..as I said then Kadri tries to take out his chicklets and I wish he wouldn't have missed |

I'm hoping so....how about something like this.....
trade Kulimen to Pitt for 2nd rounder
trade Grabo to Wash for Troy Brower
trade Liles, Biggs and 2nd rounder (Pitts pick) to COL for ROR
Line up;
JVR, Bozak, Kessel
Lupul, ROR, Brower
Frattin, Kadri, Komorov/MacArthur
Brown, Mclement, Orr/McLaren
Phaneuf - Gunnerson
Franson - Gardiner
Kostka - Holzer/Fraser - tru_blu.buzz
So Liles, Biggs and Kulemin for O'Reilly... |

Wow you really see what you want.
Kadri's "little slash" was apparently so soft that he lost his balance and went down to one knee as he swung. Hedman then crosschecked him back. |

Not saying Hedman shouldn't. Of course he should have, and then Kadri should have gotten the retaliation. |

It's weird but I have been keeping a mental note on this, the Leafs get a discrepancy in calls when they play Carolina, Florida and Tampa over the years, especially in Carolina. - LeafMan
In the last 10 yrs Carolina has had the most PP opportunities in the league 6 times - 6 out of 10! The other 4 yrs they were 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. One team out of 30 never lower than 5th. Why?

so how many are calling for trades and to blow things up?
i saw earlier someone was trying to say they arent scoring enough lol.. they are 7th overall league wide ffs.
so they had a flat game on the second game of a back to back while on the road.. not like that has ever happened to a team before - Dozzer
Nobody called for trades or "blowing things up". However, some people got a little hypersensitive when it was simply pointed out that the Leafs have not played particularly well since the Flyers game. |

1. I don't care.
2. What is Vinnie doing tangling with Orr? Not the wisest use of resources.
3. The league really needs to step in and make Tampa Bay change their uniforms. It's like I'm watching a Toronto blue and white scimmage.
4. Why is that on Hockeyfights.com? More like Hockeyhugs.com

i'm not going to fight about it...I don't care...but when I watch it...and I'm not biased because it doesnt effect me 1 iota...kadri tries to slash him and his stick scrapes along the ice and misses him..hence he falls forward as Hedman crosschecks him again. Have a nice day....habs are looking good!!!!! |

Black Kessel jersey from yesterday's discussion.
Poor game by Leafs but better effort by Lightning than many this year. |

lol, it's just weird that they get so many calls especially at home, I didn't even have to look up the stat posted, it was very obvious when you watch the games. |

But hey, if the kids like it...
The one that always puzzled me was the half-home, half-away jersey. Who would buy that?
Did you have a drink at the Forum outdoor bar last night? I still have a picture of me sitting on the Zamboni, drinking a beer.
Oh God, I need a warm weather vacation... |

I disagree with you. Keeping shots to the outside and not taking stupid chances offensively.
They're finally playing good hockey actually. Last night was just a matter of a well rested team vs a tired one. |

he takes most of his draws in the defensive zone and it is constantly given shadowing roles.
that line isnt being used to generate offense.. quite the opposite actually. - Dozzer
I understand the role he is in, but he just doesn't seem to have any snarl in his game.
Obviously they are not generating any offense, but doesn't have the same bite and competitive edge as the past couple seasons.

grabovski need a legit top 6 winger, hes been playing with mac and kule for years and they are 2nd / 3rd line tweeners, i think we can all agree with that.
i saw a few shifts when it was grabovski and kadri together, itw as deadly dangerous..
this is why lupul needs to come back. frattin too to round out the third line.

I can't figure out if Grabo is the problem ....or if the problem is that he's stuck playing with Komarov and Kulemin who can't get anything offensive going. They're checking fine ...but no offensive chemistry at all. Maybe Lupul gets some shifts with that line when he's back. - The Law
I agree that it looks like he needs an offensive spark to get him going a bit more...but the same could be said for Kulemin who has far more offensive potential than he is showing.
Obviously that pair are not in the same league, but Datsyuk does't seem to have a problem playing solid shut down d and still providing offense. |
