I'm not one to defend Miller, but hes been pretty good so far this season, and is by far not the problem. He seems to be the only one in a leadership position on this team who shows any kind of passion to win.

Part of me honestly expects a trade today... But history says no chance.

I agree, plus agree with robi on gr today. You can really only get true value when your team is winning when their down you dont get much return. Stafford really wont get you a whole lot etc etc. Really only Vanek and Pommer have true value.

We have too many veteran players who are stale. Regehr, Leo, Jochen. Too many square pegs trying to fit in round holes. And yes, Lindy has lost this team as well as himself. You can see his confidence isn't always there and that reflects with the team. He's now got them playing to not lose, but also to not win in the process.

Translation: If Lindy and Darcy ain't goin' anywhere, then maybe it's time to train the laser beam on the forehead of the captain of the team. Maybe its time for Pominville to be traded. He is a valuable offensive player and is a former All Star. He plays PP and PK, and thrives 5 on 5. I'm not so sure he's cut out to be the captain. Is he in the same class as Toews, Crosby, Getzlaf, Giroux?


This is from Garths blog. I called it last night on here that they would start talking about trading Pominville instead of just firing Ruff. It's like having a bad engine in a car, and attempting to fix it by changing the brakes and tires. The real problem will always exist until you get a new engine
