i know you can't add at all, you some how keep pulling 6 years out of your ass (along with other things) but it's at 2.5 years genius not 6, learn how to add then maybe you can get a job other than flipping burgers

Wasn't Tambi brought in to be the "rebuild" guy? When was he hired? I seriously seem to remember that it was pretty much stated that Tambi was going to rebuild this team. I may be wrong.

If you go back in look at everything you'll realize what was said and what was actually meant is two very different stories.

First off, Kevin Lowe locked everyone that was here up before ST came in. While it seems like a good idea at the time it isn't. CBJ will soon see this as they have guys locked up that the new GM probably wishes weren't, and it will take time to get rid or some of these guys.

Second, Bulin who really was suppose to be ST's first real signing turns out not to be his signing. Lowe ran it.

Third, after seeing how spending money isn't always the answer ST convinces ownership and Lowe to let him tear down and rebuild. This results in the start of the 5 year plan and Hall being drafted.

So while it may seem like ST was brought in to clean up, he clearly wasn't given the chance off the bat and it's still clear that Lowe has the final say and his fingers in there. Lowe himself said so, plus he did the Hemsky deal.

saying that we started rebuilding when we traded Smyth is like saying you guys started rebuilding when you traded Phanuef... just a stupid ignorant comment, that shows a complete lack of hockey knowledge.

Edit: It's not like we shopped around all our players then traded them for a rebuild, they tried to re-sign Smyth but he was asking for Datsyuk money so they did the right thing and traded him instead of signing another bad contract

I do business with THEM. So yes I know their style. I have regular quarterly meetings with them. So yes. I know them. I make presentations to them regularly and they question me regularly. I don't hang out with them.
