The only way Grigornenko is going to do anything serviceable is if something similar happens to him that happened to Ennis last year: they have no other choice due to injuries, but to put him where he belongs, with other skill players. - buffalofan19

if a blogger did it, look at their archives, from their blog page
if it's in the forum you need to search it on the net if it does not display

The Matthew Barry rants are indeed epic.
The day we shut down EK's thread.

Joe,
I think they owe the fans and season ticket holders an attempt at the playoffs first before they poop can the season. That being said when grigs gets back in he'll be playing 3-4 nights a week so playing time wont be a problem. - Buffalo--Sabres
I'd love that if I thought they had a roster that could make some sort of push. Sadly, I think we'll have to rebuild before we can make a legitimate cup run. I'd rather we admitted it and started now instead of waiting for the end of the season to 'figure out' we're not a playoff team by way of a 12-15 spot in the draft. Or more realistically, in two years from now, when Darcy and Lindy are finally gone. |

Most are drafted at 18, prior to having good college seasons would be my guess. - dadeadhead
Fair thought... makes sense. I just ran through the list of winners and very few of them struck me as 'NHL Successful'. I would think the winners of this award would be guys that have greater success at the NHL level. NCAA and NHL are clearly two different animals (Duh!)... much like NCAA Football and NFL, college success doesn't necessarily translate to professional success. I find it interesting. |

Aside from Paul Kariya (4th overall in 1993), why do so many Hobey Baker winners get drafted so low, or even undrafted. For 'the top NCAA men's ice hockey player', you'd think they would go higher... or at least I do - bmhumby
havent been on the same level in awhile
best players go to canada juniors. |

I'd put him on a wing with Ennis and Stafford or even Ennis or Foligno. Hell, even though I probably wouldn't end up going through with it, I would even considering breaking up Vanek, Hodgson and Pominville at this point play him with one or more of them. What's the worst thing they're going to do, lose more games? |

they dont want him at wing.
More importantly he isnt helping them win games....they still wanna win believe it or not. He isnt ready.....they made a mistake by keeping him. A mistake most of us would have made too from the posts when it was decision time. |

25. I met Shania Twain before she was famous at a Nashville Knights game. We hit it off, she asked me out and I said no because I had a girlfriend.
Gets me every time.
