Just saw the replay of "the hit", looked like a penalty for sure, but didn't look all that bad to me really. Nothing worse than what happens in a scrum in front of the net post whistle. Hope he's OK, but I'd be shocked if there's supplemental discipline.

I disagree & I think the league office will too. Pretty obvious intent to injure IMO when you look at the slow motion replays and the position of the puck when contact was made.

Note: This is the same player who knocked Bolland out of the game with a nasty slash the last game.

You strike upon a good point but they do not base these things on slow motion as it distorts the play far too much. What may be the only relevant point is that "Where was the Puck"? and in this case, the level of the puck.

I hope Hossa is Ok.

I don't doubt he hit him on purpose, it just didn't look that bad to me. Looked like he barely touched him. Like I said, guys get hit that hard during a post whistle, goal mouth scrum every game. If Hossa doesn't "sell it", they don't even call a penalty on that play.

besides 4 3rd period 40 foot blasts getting passed emery being a bit of a probelm as the Hawks try to sit on leads.

Notice the crappy prevent pp's they had in the 3rd...nothing generated. Kill this team when you got em. The nucks were outclassed and out played for 4o minutes...finish the job
