Fair enough. I will try to be fair about the hit tomorrow— and basically say the league will decide it. I think it was dirty, and many others do. Some (even a Hawk fan or two) think it was accidental. So there is room for debate, I guess.

One thing I hope the league would start is at minimum fining players for very questionable plays. That way they would be repeat offenders each subsequent time. I can see where it could have been accidental, but I cannot see a possible argument that he was trying to play the puck. If he was reaching for the puck, his forearm never would have been in the position it was.

In an interview with Daniel Sedin last year when asked about the perception around the league regarding his penchant for diving, it was interesting to me that he didn't even pretend to act like he he didn't know what the interviewer was talking about. Kind of telling. Busted!
