Hear Hear! Hope Seabs' has iced his 'mid-section' enough to come back soon and help sort out some of the issues they had in their own zone tonight. - prd797
11 out of 12 points at home...but 4 of the W's were WHITE KNUCKLE...we don't close as strongly at home as we do away . Have to finish STRONGER.

You're aware that people in Chicago are killed everyday, right? Someone get this guy a tall glass of STFU pronto. - CBHawks88
Oh, well why didn't you say so? That totally makes it OK that people were killed in a riot then. |

Yes, goodnight, i see the reluctance in you to continue an adequate argument.
I would say that i look forward to discussing the result of the Hansen non-ban with you however we both know il be banned by the time the "penalty" is released.
Congrats on squeaking out a victory in a shootout, hopefully the playoffs will allow us to even up the victories. - Whiskey-Tango
You guys ever squeak out a Cup win? |

Think about......they have never won a cup.....lost to Boston a couple of years ago then rioted.....lost to an 8th seed after winning the presidents trophy....known for dirty play....their coach is almost always out coached.......they have a guy on their team who had bitten and pulled hair of an opposing player.....they do more diving than an olympic diving team and a few representatives of their entitled fan base come on here and try to antagonize us by disputing a clearly dirty hit.....go away...please....clean up your room and go to bed.....if your parents knew you were up this late you would be grounded. - UnnamedSource

Of course he says that. All the Yotes players and coaches said the hit on Hossa in the playoffs was clean after that game. Their announcers even called it a clean hit during their broadcast. Every team is going to back up their players. - NewToHockey
The Yotes' announcers are clowns and assume that Phoenix is where saints, perfect role models, and the cleanest of all hockey players reside. |

More symbolic than rioting? - UnnamedSource
As opposed to demonizing a citizen for catching a baseball?
Or, repeatedly burning down ghettos?
Perhaps having one of the worst crime rates in
North America, as well as implementing one of the most hostile and racist police forces on earth?
Nice try... |

Fair enough. I will try to be fair about the hit tomorrow— and basically say the league will decide it. I think it was dirty, and many others do. Some (even a Hawk fan or two) think it was accidental. So there is room for debate, I guess.

The team has shat down their legs for the better part of 3-4 years with unbelievable talent.
His team continues to be labeled not only as cheap shot artists but infantile crybabies.
I've said this for two years - it's mind boggling how this guy still has a job. - CaptainBlackhawk
AV was very complimentary toward the Hawks after the game. "Very hard to handle their speed, especially 4 on 4. Best team in the NHL".
If I was Gillis I'd fire his ass just because........... they aren't going to win anything with him as coach.
The Canucks dominate their own division and grab loads of points in OT and shootouts. 6-0 in their own division, atrocious outside that division.

Wonder if they slow down as the crowd does in the third? Its crazy in there for the first 40 when they have a lead, then gets quiet as it SEEMS the game is in hand, and the intensity drops. On the road you feed off the silence. Idk just a thought |

There's zero room for debate on this JJ. Hansen took his elbow/arm and drove it into the head of Hossa. Someone who was just playing the puck doesn't "accidentally" follow through as Hansen did. |

Gillis might be more to blame then AV. The guy has really done nothing to improve the team since 2011. Nucks are regressing. |

Since he is paying Lou so much, make him coach. That would solve a big issue for him. |

This would all be so powerful if it was all true. That's the problem.
I mean I could say you've inhaled too much second hand weed smoke walking around Robson Street and that makes you loony. But that would be specious and stupid.
Quit while you're sorta not too far behind. |

Vigneault, on if he thinks Hansen will get supplemental discipline for hit on Hossa: "Not a chance." #Blackhawks - philco28
No I think that was his answer to "Are the Canucks going to finally win a Cup this year?" |

Again - the point is intent. Hansen followed through with his elbow/arm into Hossa's head - 100% intent to try to hurt a defenseless player.
My God I would have LOVED to have seen the Canuck fan reactions if that was one of the sisters on the other end of a hit like that. |
