I think if anyone is waiting for payback ,they will be disappointed. If they were to avenge the hit , I would think they will wait until they are back home and not on unfriendly grounds.
I think Canucks will probably try to trap and play defensive. I can see this game being as boring as the last. - VANTEL
Hey Van - is there much to Kesler's return disrupting the on ice mojo of the line combos and the impact on their play until he settles back in?

Am I to take it you are privy to the dressing room conversations of the Canuck players then? - paulr
You are giving your team too much credit. There is little buzz about this game . Media before use to hype it as a A+ now it is a B+ . |

I am guessing that is mostly because neither team is east of the Appalachians.

Agreed. Canucks controlled most of the last matchup, wouldnt expect much of a game plan change. - nickmo2699
AV will send checking line against Toews line Sedins against 2 nd line. Chi does have last change though. |

Toews doesnt fight "third Liners" - Ryan Kesler voice
Not to mention he took a pretty nasty hit sunday from Ellerby too - nickmo2699
Funny living in Chicago(unfortunately) I talk to a lot of Hawk fans and most of them would love this "3rd liner" on your team. When healthy and not diving he's one of the best 2-way forwards in the NHL. Far from a 3rd liner buddy. |

His play says otherwise. And yes we would love to have him on our team, more PP time for us. |

BIeksa over Bolland? Not right now. We have D. I also feel like no one here would be against having Bieksa on the Hawks back end. I enjoy his nastiness and he is the only guy on your team I like. Burrows on the other hand, he can go play in traffic. |

The Sedins wish Bieksa played for the Hawks instead of Bolland too. |

Which play? His 2 games this season coming back from wrist and shoulder surgery in which he has points in each game BTW? Or his play last year in which he was playing hurt all year and was off the ice for 3/4 of a year because of it after the season with said surgeries? Or maybe the year before that when he had 41 goals and won the Selke when he was playing healthy? How much better would your team if you had a healthy 2nd line Center like Kesler on it? |

Regular Season numbers are all good and dandy, but I judge players by playoff performance. For me he hasnt been near the playoff player that he was in the regular season. Agree to disagree. I think there are a lot of teams that would want Kesler as more than a #2 but the Hawks have been just fine wo him. |

When did the Canucks become this boring trap team?
I miss the run and shoot offensive battles of the past
Is AV in charge or Rick Bowness?
Or is it the talent pool is a lot slower in Vancouver than in past seasons??
Went to High School with Ric in Halifax

Should be a good game tonight. While making the record would be nice story but it doesn´t matter at all if they fail in playoffs again. Still, there is nothing like beating the Nucks though. Tough team to play against, no matter how the standings point or feel about them. Lets´hope for the best!
