Anyone else livid that the Hawks "rewarded" those a$$hats for the cheap shot to Hossa? Bury just one of those friggin' odd man breaks and this game was ovah...
Bury one during the late PP and this game was ovah...
One of those rare games where I'm absolutely pissed the fu*k off despite 2 points. |

That's a tough one, I honestly expect a fine at minimum, but my guess is that he gets a game or 2. It looks pretty bad from one of the angle that I saw, but I don't think that was Hansen's intent. He's a gritty guy that play hard, but he's never been a dirty player at all. - Nucker101
Same guy who knocked out Bolland with a dirty slash last game |

Not a chance, shouldn't have even been a penalty. - dshiddy
Punching a player in the back of the head isn't a penalty? |

Suspension coming - CBHawks88
Yep.
Still won without Seabrook and Hossa for the third. |

I hate Kesler's diving, but he's a hell of a hockey player. - Nucker101
I have to agree. Guy didn't break Datsyuk's Selke streak coincidentally. Cut that diving crap though, seriously can't stand that. Take that $hit to La Liga, don't want it in the NHL from any player no matter which team they are on. |

Still don't think it was dirty or that bad a play...but Hoss had a major neck injury i believe and that jolt could have aggravated the old injury

Alternate reality, as in Bollig pushing Weise when he is still lying on the ground, then pummeling him before Weise can even get his gloves off due to a CLEAN hit? And you guys make fun of Bieksa |

Missed most of the game. Last day in Florida so I couldn't really just sit in front of my laptop. Congrats to the Hawks. |

Class from Fosco and Nucker. I'm sure VANTEL would do the same. Appreciated. - John Jaeckel

Turns out that they can't score goals whenever you specifically want them too.
They're good, but not quite that good. |

The Nucks were clearly more physical. I don't think going full-on goon by the Hawks is needed or advised, but I think they're short a physical forward for these types of games/series. Bickell, aside from a check, was MIA. This was the type of game where he should be stepping up.

Disagree completely. The puck was well on its way to the ground when the contact was made |

Weren't there also unconfirmed rumors that Hossa had serious whiplash from the Torres hit? Still, Q said he "saw him after the game" which means he wasn't sent to the hospital. |

Bad last ten minutes....good pace throughout. Soft goal in the 1st but Emery and team responded. I like how this team responds. Last couple of years they would curl up in the fetal position after some adversity. |

I'm sorry, but do you really believe these guys don't have intent to put a hurt on the opposition? It is just like the people who say Cooke did not intend to injure Karlsson. What is your skate doing a coulple feet off the ice and then jammed dowmn hard knowing you are right next to the player. Everyone who thinks these things are not intentional are ignorant to sports. |

This from the same people who were saying Keith was just defending himself when he elbowed Sedin in the jaw. - hankthetank
Really? We're not done with this? Well yeah, what about the time Darcy Rota speared Stan Mikita and ruptured his spleen? Ok that obviously didn't happen but who cares?
Let's stop dredging up history; except for the 2 out of 3 times we beat the Nucks in the playoffs and especially the one on the way to a Cup win.

He was going for the puck, completely accidental... but it was a penalty. If he has no past suspensions, I think he'll just receive a fine.
Heck, Seto cross-checked Quincy in the jaw last game and didn't receive a suspension... |

Then why was his arm bent? Do you typically reach for things with your elbow leading? |
