I'm going to say this again-

1. The coach doesn't get fired, because if he did, he'd be replaced by someone on his staff. When called on what happened the other day, he says, "we don't have many options." While this is a BS cop out, there is a between the lines point.

2. They trade for a guy who's not going to play, just for cap room- in other words, so they can dump actual coin at the deadline.

3. They keep DiPietro here, despite the fact that there is NO reason to do so- he can easily be sent down, and stay there, while they let these kids learn to play from Nabokov. However, that means they have to pay that player a major league salary, while still paying DiPietro ANYWAY.

The bottom line: the owner is broke. He's not cheap. He's broke. That's why I think he will sell sooner rather than later, because I think he HAS TO.
