Wow one 50 + season playing on a line with Landeskog and now he's being compared to Doug Gilmour.
WTF is the matter with people?

Keep your depth on D, tons of games in a short time, injuries will happen and having quality D's is important for a team going for a playoffs spot. - Symba007
I would say at least until the trade deadline.
The thing is, if your team is in a playoff spot and playing well, there is no rush to make a deal.
On the other hand, once your team is struggling it gets hard to make a fair deal.
Bottom line though is that the Leafs may not have the best D-core in the league by a longshot, but they do have a lot of NHL-capable D-men. When a lot of teams are struggling for D, it is probably best to sit back and wait to see what a bubble-playoff team, or a contender looking for depth is willing to offer.

Very nice.
Taking Tampa on my proline tonight though... Forgive me. Seems like one they'll lose. - robin_steele264
Because of this Rynnas gets a shutout |

frank Schneider - bobbyisno1
Schneider's numbers support him being a Vezina candidate.
In fact, if you argue or debate that fact, and present numbers to support your position, Vancouver fans (more than one) will point out to you that if you take away Schneider's one (now two) bad games, he is putting up numbers like Luongo... and you are a moron for suggesting otherwise.
See, I don't see the same crap from Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton or Philly or any other team for that matter.
The Canucks fans on this site are the worst, by far. It is not even close. |

Back to back games for Leafs, I would imagine Rynnas gets the start tonight since they're playing back to back. Tampa is first in the league in scoring..Despite Leafs dominance on the road I'd have to take Tampa tonight too unfortunately...

Anybody else a little peeved that they brought Kadri up for 40+ games benching his ass and giving him 3 seconds of ice-time disqualifying him from the Calder race his year? |

Its really hard to say. All of the next 6 games will be against teams that the Leafs will be directly battling with for the 5-8 playoff spots. There really aren't any games you can throw Rynnas in and take your chances. I think it's early enough in the season to let Scrivens run with it for a few more games...and will hopefully bring us to when Reimer is ready to return. |

Meh, maybe it's for the better. Kadri's a big enough personality, doesn't really need a Calder race to distract him from what he's been doing so far. |

@TSNDaveHodge: Is it possible the Leafs will keep both Scrivens and Reimer, or is it inevitable that one will be traded to Vancouver?

Been away in the Caribbean for the past 10 days......... By the looks of things, the Leafs have been playing well.
Is Scrivens playing lights out? Or is it just very good team defense?

So?? he's trying to get a deal done that is best for him.
People comparte him to Grabo and he's at 5.5, but people say no to o'Reilly for 4.5-5?? What do you think Bozak will ask for this summer??? He's going to be close to that and he's not worth it. - burn
you're comparing a guy who was headed to UFA and had leverage and is now underperforming to a guy with a career high of 18 goals coming off his ELC. and we're talking about him getting a $5 million deal?
jeez, and we fans wonder why we have to sit through lockouts every decade. |

Either way we are on pace for a 100 pt season (assuming), we're tied for 3rd in the league in total wins, and we're 1 pt better than the canucks right now |
