Ottawa is not boring at all.. It's that stupid typical Toronto mindset. The Byward Market is an awesome place to spend a night out. In terms of food it's like everywhere else, you just have to look for the good places. It's mostly known for the Shawarmas tho. - Arctic_AARDVARK
I lived there for about five or six years. The Byward Market is okay and some stuff on Bank/Elgin (ESD poutine at 3am? Golden!) is good but it doesn't really compare to the variety and quality to be found in Toronto. That's not to say every restaurant in Toronto is amazing and every restaurant in Ottawa is terrible but from a comparison standpoint Toronto wins hands down in virtually all categories.
Shawarmas are good in Ottawa, better than the average in Toronto IMO, but Toronto has infinitely superior street meat. So it's kind of a wash as far as I'm concerned. |

They only collapsed once after a fast start, which was last year. And it was after the 40 game mark. - mykokes
I've seen more than just last years team collapse. The year before they won the first couple then went winless in like 20. And lets not talk about the late 80s where almost every single team choked in the 2nd half and would either barely miss the playoffs or barely make it.
Maybe this is a new team because of the Coach or maybe its not. |

We like our typical Toronto mind set (if it's not Toronto, it sucks) lol
But, in all seriousness, Ottawa for the most part sucks minus Shawarma (I give you that), but Toronto should be the Capital of this nation and Ottawa should merge with Quebec province as a neighborhood in Quebec City.

We're hopeful that with a short season, the players will forget to fall apart until after the season is over.
But it's also encouraging that we're putting up these wins with a depleted line-up. We'll be getting back some key players that can only make us better. |

Toronto has 6x the population. Ottawa can throw a better party than TO. Street meat goes to MTL. I lived in the glebe and usually just stuck to pubs. I'm not saying the food is better there, it's just a better place to live IMO. The Ottawa valley is far nicer than the GTA |

It was twice in the same period.
God Bless Leafs fans, but you'll forgive me if I don't run out and buy a Komarov jersey.
He's a 4th liner, who has been bumped up to 3rd line due to injuries.
It's the classic Leafs fan syndrome: fall in love with a guy by focusing on a single aspect of his game that he does well. - Atomic Wedgie
No no...relax....is your bra pinching again?
It was once....and he embellished.
Sure he might have been bumped up...but he's played well....so whine somewhere else. |

Two questions:
1 - How long did you live in TO to make a proper assessments?
2 - Have you been at Church Street? |

When I become world commissioner of hockey, I will be banning the use of the word "warrior" from all hockey communications.
I'm just saying this: Komarov is Tucker without the scoring.
I'd rather have Tucker.

Nah, when TO becomes the capital, Ford's lard ass will be shipped to Africa to be BBQed and put an end to the world famine. |

Ottawa cant even compare to TO on any level...although the canal is fun.

Like, if you live near Dundas, or Ancaster and even suburban Stoney Creek it's not half bad and it's cheap.
The lower city is like the refugee center on Nar Shadaa. Bunch of fat slugs collecting welfare and smoking crack in public parks at noon. Sunday's are my favourite days; watching police officers ride horseback on major rodes during rush hour, pulling people over for speeding.
You might think I'm kidding....
