The first call was embellishment, that is no different than snapping your head back when a stick comes near a player's face, EVERY player does it to get a call. The second call, not a chance that was diving

Yup. He said so after the game.

It was twice in the same period.

God Bless Leafs fans, but you'll forgive me if I don't run out and buy a Komarov jersey.

He's a 4th liner, who has been bumped up to 3rd line due to injuries.

It's the classic Leafs fan syndrome: fall in love with a guy by focusing on a single aspect of his game that he does well.

He's doing what he was brought here to do..... Hit, aggravate/agitate and play good d.

Just a note on Gardiner if he is called up, after three more games he has to clear waivers to be sent back down, so if he is called up, it will probably be for good.

Can't believe it. The way he skated off the ice that night i could have sworn he was done for the year.

They said it on the game last night that Reimer was due to start skating soon.

Which is likely why they're taking their sweet time with calling him up.

ACTUALLY, I have an insider source (read: a habs fan) that told me its because Gardiner is just struggling to crack the lineup because he isn't good enough to be in the NHL.

In the long run, it'll payoff for his progress anyways. He was a monster yesterday. 34 mins of ice time, set up the tying goal...

what about Van, Munch, and TO? The food? meh... I like visiting those places but its a little too fast paced for me. I had a great breakfast one in TO tho.. Its called the green eggplant on wellington or eglinton i think? meh. Ottawa is where it's at, SHAWARMAS!!
- Arctic_AARDVARK

There is 2 Green Egg Plant restaurants in Toronto. The food is amazing and the portions are bigger than anywhere else. I always have to take the rest of it to go. I live one block away from the one in the Beaches area, and needless to say I am a regular there. What's cool about TO when it comes to food, is there is cuisines from all parts of the world, you can never run out fine dinning options.

My work involves travelling to our branches all over Canada. Ottawa sucks when it comes to night life, fine dinning and entertainment. The city is soooooo small and has nothing really going for them. I have friends bored out of their minds living in Ottawa and wish they could move elsewhere if they could.

Leafs are 10-6

Any bets on when the collapse will start?

Ottawa is not boring at all.. It's that stupid typical Toronto mindset. The Byward Market is an awesome place to spend a night out. In terms of food it's like everywhere else, you just have to look for the good places. It's mostly known for the Shawarmas tho.

Hi guys, just like to say as I drop in, Kadri is awesome. I wouldn't trade him straight up for Ryan O'Reilly.

Good to hear as far as Reimer and Frattin are concerned. Thought it would be a lot worse than that. I know they gave estimates early on but I don't really put much faith in those, they usually are either way under or over. But, yearh, good to hear they will be back ont he ice soon.

They only collapsed once after a fast start, which was last year. And it was after the 40 game mark.

I think it's cause he isn't dominating in the A like he was during the lockout. Regardless of how they feel he will play with the Leafs, they clearly want their players to prove themselves before coming up.

It's a good thing.
