Canada is not known for its cuisine.. And most people i meet wouldn't give you the time of the day. People are selfish d!ckbags now, and that's universal.

I don't give a poop what position he plays. You're just breaking it down into categories. Ohh he's elite in the category of right-wingers with a right hand shot on an original six team in the past 10 years
- Arctic_AARDVARK

I don't think that was the claim.

He is doing such a good job being an agitator. Just like Armstrong except for a few differences:

1) He hits
2) He agitates
3) He can skate fast
4) He isn't on the IR every 3rd game

There are still outposts of courtesy and random acts of kindness. Sadly, the 'me first' mentality has been pushed so hard on us that most have trouble walking 20 feet to knock on a door and greet a new neighbour.

George Carlin did a fantastic rant on the state of modern society once. Dont have the vid handy but it's brilliant. I miss his work.

Kessel has elite speed, and an elite shot, is also an elite game changer when he gets open ice.

Probably?

If you think there's even a slight chance that anything he says is true I don't know what to say.

Sam ole poope. Work! LOL

Ya, not too shabby right now huh? I'm amazed at Carlyle's influence, although I figure they've caught on well, because they're a young team? When they're playing strong, it's night and day from their defensive coverage last year...

- PTVinnyMac

Yeah its a huge change. They are giving up a bunch of shots, but everything is to the outside and they are limiting the second chances.

That spells success.

- Atomic Wedgie

And a few more diving penalties may help fix that after Carlyle has a talk with him. That being said, Komarov, diving aside, seems to have a knack to pissing off opposing players enough to the point of distraction. Will Carlyle sacrifice a couple diving penalties here and there if it means getting good players off their game? There's also a strong possibility Komarov can keep up his style of play without the diving...time will tell.

Canada isn't even half as bad as the states, and while it isn't known for its cuisine, that doesn't mean the food is bad..

The first call was embellishment, that is no different than snapping your head back when a stick comes near a player's face, EVERY player does it to get a call. The second call, not a chance that was diving

Like I said last night, I can't stand it when refs call the original penalty and the dive.

Call it one or the other. Either the penalty was legit, or the player embellished something that wasn't there.

Calling both is a cop out for referees who aren't confident enough to make the proper call.

Okeeee he's elite! the elitest of the elite. Let's just forget the inconsistencies of his production. If he ever scores 50 ill change my mind.. That's the elite threshold IMO

Couldn't agree more. It's such a gutless move by refs so that they don't look like their influencing games with their opinion. You're being paid to make the calls, either it was a legitimate penalty, or it was a dive.

Stop comparing Kessel to a player that he isn't. Sundin was a big stud 1C. Kessel is a very fast sniper. Too different talents.
- faceto27
