i dont' hate miller at all, i just don't like seeing players run their mouths off and throw teammates under the bus.

I, like most of you, have played sports all my life. if one of my teammates did that to me, it would piss me off, just as i'm sure it pissed off a lot of his teammates.

when miller was playing poorly at the beginning of the season, do you think he would have liked it if vanek went in front of the media and said "we're working oru asses off here, it's too bad our goalie is playing like crap and couldn't stop a beachball"

why exactly? other than one GREAT year, what has miller actually accomplished, other than being an above average goalie. if you take away 09/10, and look at his numbers, they aren't anything spectacular, yet you act like i'm comparing anderson to ken dryden or patrick roy.

miller is a very good goalie, i'm not denying that, but you're talking as if he's some mesiah between the pipes.

Addition by subtraction. Mcnabb and pysyk will be an upgrade from Leo and Sekera eventually. They werent really serious proposals anyway.

It would prolly take Miller, Pominville, 2nd and Stafford.

I mentioned that a couple weeks back and seemed to get the same response. I would love that guy on this team. Helps with Gringo, gets the place jumping again, and gives us another guy to b!tch about.

anyone who even tries to get OV out of washington would have to SOOOOO burtally overpay for him. that deal, IMO, isn't even close to getting a deal done fro OV.

i think it would start with hodgson, foligno, 1st, and then add from there.

for the record, i'm not saying this is what he's worth.....just what the caps would want. if they trade their franchise, they're gonna want a "franchise" type return.

The thing that obviously I took exception to is a poster trying to pass as fact that he could name "many" goalies that could and would be doing better then Miller with this team in front of them.

I see things for what they are with Miller.
Maybe 1 or 2 games at most Miller could have played a bit better this season but when you have to face the most shots in the league night after night you are going to have 1 or 2 games where you are not at your peak.
Miller is not the problem but you can continue your little hate pilgramage for him if it makes you less frustrated.

I disagree. A.O is ruining that team. With his cap hit alone they are pretty much stuck with him anyway. Miller would be a good starting point considering Holtby and Neuvirth have taken turns looking bad this year. It was a joke proposal anyways based on what someone posted they would target.
