He clearly has a reading problem, No one said its Millers fault. He is obviously just a big big big Miller supporter and feels offended when Miller isn't talked about as amazing.
- Smittyx36

I grow weary of fans like you that think they know the game and represent their opinion as fact.
You need to watch more hockey which is clear to me if you think any goalie in this league would do any better then Miller with this team playing in front of them.
Miller has bailed this team out time and time again this season and kept them in games they shouldnt be.
Answer me this.
Why has Enroth's game suffered as well?
I can tell you why but I am sure your answer will make me chuckle.

Trading Ryan now would give the appearance that management is thin skinned, it may send wrong message around the league. Trading someone like Pommenville or Ennis would be a stronger message of no one is safe. Besides they carry more trade value. I'm not saying we should but it would send a loud message!
- bflodukes

making an move on a top player on this team would show something.. when is the last time we moved a top player that we were not forced to? Was it Lafontaine?

I disagree on the more trade value end of it, did you watch the game yesterday? Those NBC hacks still think Miller is the Queen of North American goalies (Quick is the King). We see him every game and can nit pick his flaws but it seem that outside of Buffalo he does still carry a label of being one of the best in the league.

Because Enroth is awful????

Your still assuming that I think Miller is a average goalie . You played goalie???? Good for you!!! I played ice hockey up until my junior year of HS. It don't mean jack poop! This is the NHL.

Would we be a better team with a better goalie? NOOOO! You just overate Miller is all.

okay, this is probably a CRAZY suggestion....but why not give the C to myers. maybe not permanently, but in a last ditch effort to turn his game around.

i think his problem this year is about 90% in his head. the kid obviously has skills, but is SEVERELY lacking in confidence. perhaps a move like that would help show that his team has faith in him, and help turn things around.

crazy, yes, but maybe crazy enough to work?

Thats because Buffalo carries the label of being a average at best team with a top notch goalie.

prove to me its not true.. you can't.

we will never know, but i do think there are some goalies out there that would be better suited in buffalo than miller. Sorry if my opinion conflicts with your almighty opinion, but that is what i think. Miller is not the problem on the ice i have already stated that.

in terms of goalies, he probably gets you a good return....that being said, relative to forwards and D, goalies never get a good return.

buffalo would probably get good pieces to help build for the future, but i don't think they'll get anything to help turn this around now.

Myers is not ready for that, he barely has enough strength to skate that Body around, no sense weighing him down with the C.

Ott would be good. Vanek is at least acting like one.

Agree, but by listening to Darcy, it's clear he over values our talent. His holding unto players until they lose value is epic. He needs to make a move to send a message and next to bring in another leader. Wether it be a dman or a forward it doesn't matter

Yes he has high value, but the appearance might be that the Sabres move players who are critical of management.

Not name calling, I'm pointing out your inability to comprehend the fact that I don't think Miller is the problem and that he is a good goalie.

That's a tool dude, but the fact that you got a chuckle out of it just even adds to the case that you are in fact a tool or very very simple minded.

you're right, A is probably a better idea. but something needs to be done, some sign from the team that they still have faith in him. if things keep going like this, his career as an NHL player will be over pretty quickly.

as an ottawa fan, this myers sitaution reminds me a lot of Daigle. talented as hell, but given WAAAYYYY too much money and WAAAYYYYYY too much pressure far too early. still think myers can turn it around, but this is unfolding in an eerily similar fashion.
