In his 1st 15 games(I can only find info on 13 of them do to yahoo not giving me info on the Atl games) he avg about 14mins a night. Starting in game 16 he got 21:50. Ruff is hardly doing the same thing with Grigs as was done to Backstrom. IMO they wasted an EL year of his deal for nothing.

Do you think he hasn't already done that? My guess would be that approach has already been tried. And failed. He took it up to the next level, IMO.
