I'd give DZ up for RoR IF Colorado throws in a solid defensemen. Nothing special, but a solid guy who can play 12-15 mins a game and not poop the bed.

To be fair, except for last year, finishing ahead of the Leafs is pretty much the norm...

good offer, its just i think col may feels nyr has to pony up more on their end for o'reilly because of the value they place on him for now. also nyr will be taking on an estimate $5m new contract, plus another d-man where hunwick $1.6m is the lowest paid other than barrie, which they prob won't give up vs del zotto is only $2.55m per. col has to take salary back other than just del zotto. maybe pyatt has to go back the other way.

He didn't say how long he wanted me to go back...last 20 years even with the Leafs missing 7 playoffs in a row...it would be close..
