Ya weird history. Bernie was originally drafted & played for Philly. Than traded to TO. He played for the Leafs, but eventually got into a contract squabble over money with Harold Ballard. So Bernie bolted to the WHA saying he'd never play for the Leafs again. The Flyers than re-acquired the future HOF. Guess the Flyers regretted dealing Bernie away. Never heard as to why the Flyers traded him away the first time. I've seen on Leafs TV a game from like 1971 where Parent was in net for the Leafs.

And Ritchie went out made a mermaid movie, and a cocoon movie, and.......Chachi banged Joannie, and......wtf happened to the older brother Chuck with the basketball?

I had the honour & privledge to personally witness Ron Howard work live in person. He was directing the movie Cindarella Man in TO at the old Maple Leaf Gardens. I was an extra. Spent 16 hours on the set that day. Always been a HUGE fan of Ronnie, from a little boy as Opie, to a teen as Ritchie than becoming an amazing Hollywood director. Got to roam around all the private areas in MLG that the public is never allowed. Man that place is like a seriously complicated maze. Seemed like there was 100 different areas in the back of MLG.

Anyways, getting back to what I wanted to talk about, Chuck the brother. He appeared on one early episode & than was NEVER mentioned again. What happened to Chuck? Did the Did the family off him & bury him under the house?

Nonis aint trading Gardiner for him & Philly aint trading Couturier for him. Besides, the Avs are so arrogant & over rate him sooo much they would probably say no to either straight up so tell the Avs to go poop themselves.
- GCHonda

tough to say their overvaluing him. We don't know what they're asking. I think you're overvaluing Gardiner here though.

Ya when Bobby Clarke was in juniors, he was diagnosed with diabetes. Lots of teams shyed away from drafting him cause of this. Ballard also suffered from this too so if anyone understood, should have been Ballard. Leafs could have had Clarke & Parent. Indeed, fukken Ballard

It's quite obvious that everyone who says Gardiner is over rated are people who have not watched Gardiner on a regular basis. I've had this talk toooo many times, or it the same people I'm talking too? I know, I watched Gardiner for a full season last year, he was AMAZING. He is going be a beauty. He's coming off an injury & he's working on getting back his game. Anymore questions?

dont wanna split hairs here as gardiner certainly showed some offensive prowess last year. but AMAZING might be abit of a stretch.

i was looking for a list of the leafs failures i saw on the web awhile back to retort to that ridiculous, blowhard, sensnucksnocups poster. couldnt find it though.

when ur team is brutal (like the oilers/leafs have been) u kinda wanna stay away from those types of conversations. but hes just ridiculous with calling out teams.
glass house bro!!

goes something like this.
it's truly amazing how pitiful that franchises has been for over 40 years.

0 cups
0 conference titles
2 division titles
0 finals appearances
0 norris winners
0 hart winners
0 calder winners
0 vezina winners
the longest current playoff drought
voted in the bottom 5 worst franchises in sports for like 5 years running
dead last this year
the 2nd worst winning percentage in the entire decade of the 80's

etc etc etc

good news leafs fans, Flyers proved today why they suck so much and are a non-playoff team that even the lowly habs beat, after this Isles game it should be a breeze for the leafs!
