Ya was never sold on O'Reilly as a #1 C but he'd be an swesome #2. I always thought the same thing, the Avs should trade Stastny & re-sign Ryan. For the next 10 years the Avs would be solid at center with Matt & Ryan.

In the East, the best suitors would probably be Florida or Winnipeg. I don't see the Rangers really going after him, they were just kicking the tires. Geez that last game between the Leafs & Habs made me laff at alot of things.
The score was hilarious, what else was funny? Ohh yeah, Orr taking on Gionta who didn't even get punched, he got pushed face first on the ice the way a bully knocks down a little nerd at school. Hmm what else made me laff, ohh the McLaren/Gorges fight with McLaren laffing his head off, what about Grabbo taking a chomp on Patch? That was slapstick comedy. Not saying it'll happen, Avs are in no hurry to trade him and ROR brings more than Drew Shore right now, either way whatever team gets ROR this season will indeed have to pay for it.

Gunarsson is a very reliable d-man, what about him, Bozak & a 2nd from the Leafs? Avs are getting 2 young players who can fill the need on the D & a reliable center behind Matt & Paul.

Those are more spare parts players, and one being a pending UFA, no value at all

Minnesota, Florida, Edmonton, Ottawa and St. Louis are the teams with the prospect depth that allow them to offer up highly attractive packages. You assume Colorado wants a guy who can play some D for them right now as well as an elite prospect. Florida certainly has the pieces. Gudbranson or Kulikov would get my attention if either were included in a package along with a prospect.

Ya whoever get's RO will have to over pay & than that team will have tp keep their fingers crossed that RO will pan out for whatever role the envision for him. Hopefully no team will get him hoping he will be their saviour cause he won't become a Tavares or Stamkos but except for that type of role, I think RO will most likely succeed in mostly any role he is put into.

With the way we are playing we will have a crack at Seth Jones. And yes we can still get a 2nd Pairing D-Man for Stastny. O'Reilly solidifies our forward core with a very tough second line to play against

Yeah Shore won't get traded. To be honest with you, I think he is our replacement of Weiss, with Bjugstad being our future #1 center.

alot of teams would love to have him as his potential is very good. but before anyone even makes an offer, they have to be sure he'll sign at a reasonable rate (5 mil for 4 years aint gonna happen)
if he'd agree to 4-4.25 over 3 years, his value might be closer to what the avs poster suggested. but still less
