I'd trade Giroux for him

Bryz for Emery straight up!

Obviously Jonathan Bernier is superior to Ilya Bryzgalov, and the cost is only Sean Couturier
- Jsaquella

Let me guess smarty mike smith is great right? Um last I checked he sucks. Product of Phoenix just like bryz. Bernier just example. I know everyone is used to poopty Philly goalies and think bryz is playing other worldly but if you are honest and watch other teams. There's gotta be at least 15 other goalies you'd take before him and his humongous big contract. Stop trying to be tough and defend. Were all flyers fans here and in not kidding myself and you shouldn't either. Bryz is most likely not a starting Stanley cup winning goalie.

I posted and talked about how the Flyers changed their play in the defensive zone weeks ago. The changes aren't really a big deal. Minor changes. Both Defenseman on the puck down low, instead of one staying at the net.

Bryzgalov wasn't a product of the Tippett system when he had the second longest shutout streak in NHL playoff history, he was a Duck. Bryzgalov wasn't behind Tippett's system during his first year in Phoenix, when he put up very good numbers. He wasn't behind Phoenix's system when h was NHL player of the month in March of 2012.

I'm not being tough and defending, you're making rather poor suggestions in terms of roster moves to make and I'm commenting on them. No, I'm not crazy about Bryzgalov's contract, but I do think he's a very good goalie, and I am quite content to have him.

No, I wouldn't trade Sean Couturier for Jonathan Bernier and his lack of experience and buy out Bryzgalov. Sure, there's goalies I'd take ahead of him, but most of them are not obtainable unless you pay a massive price.

Are you sure you're not a Philadelphia area hockey writer?

Have to figure Frank stole the idea from Clement (or someone else). He's not smart enough to come up with this idea on his own (terrible case of small mind syndrome - sad really).

I love how often we get the 'you guys need to watch other teams' defense, as if nobody else on this hockey forum is a big hockey fan.

You really should watch Lundqvist in net. Not a bad goalie.

Nothing earth shattering. I even posted and pointed out in the Montreal game how Briere left his D zone responsibility early to cheat on the breakout. That's how Plekanec got open all alone in front of the net. Both Gervais and Coburn were behind the net on the puck, with B Schenn. Gervais fell down, Boucher sat on his ass. And Briere went for a Peggy Fleming skate. Flyers made that change a considerable amount of time ago. Both I and Jsaq have pointed it out.

I think every other year NASCAR should make them turn in a different direction.

Year 1- Left Turns
Year 2- Right Turns

Then will see who has game!

Obviously you've never watched hockey outside of the Atlantic Division. There's at least ten to fifteen stupid things with which I could effectively follow this statement.
