This coach needs to be fired, right now. This team isn't a great team, but they're not a team that should be losing hockey games, 7-0. They just quit after the third goal. QUIT. That sh*t is on the coach. It's time for somebody who won't let them play like that without REAL consequences. - dcb1
I wonder what Arbour would do to them? |

Al Arbour's team wouldn't play like that, unless they were little kids playing against NHL players. First of all, they'd KNOW HOW TO PLAY DEFENSE. Second of all, they wouldn't give sh*t effort, EVER, or they wouldn't be playing. That's how you COACH a sports team. |

Skate them til they puked.
Then skate them some more.
Crappy should be fired. He won't be, but he should be. |

[quote=jmo16]Crappy has to go. He had this to say after Isles win over Devils, "Capuano said of Nabakov. "He played extremely well. I don't know a lot about that position(goalie), but I know he was aggressive tonight"
I just looked it up because i thought he was a goalie for some reason and it turns out he played defense....looks like he doesn't know much about that either. |

No way he should be able to coach another game after losing 7-0 at home. I'm not going to waste time talking about the GM because nothing will be done with him. - ses111
JT was playing during the final 20 seconds of this game.
I dont know what any of you think about that but I think when the score hit 6-0. JT's a$$ should have been parked on the bench.
Why risk injury to our franchise player in a game we were never going to win.
Had he been injured during the 3rd period. Thats the end of this team.
In fact with a game in Ottawa tomorrow. Cappy should have primarily rotated our 3rd and 4th line for most of the 3rd period.
And Skated KO until he dropped. (which he did often enough today)
If KO took skating lessons from Finley. His skating could only improve.

They have to start to make a stand here. Bench KO and everyone else who does not give a thousand percent each game. To many lazy guys on this team. It is getting ridiculous. I mean they win two in a row but I was not gettingmy hopes up. Tomorrow is Ottawa with Ricky D. They cant beat Ottawa at all so probably another L then Montreal. Ican see them starting another 5 game losing streak. I am supposed to go Sunday and I think I will just so that I can cause a scene. - kasperrko
There is no reason to keep Jack any longer. It's not like he has a huge contract. No reason for KO to be in the lineup tomorrow as well. |

Art Staple Twitter: Capuano: "We don't have a whole lot of changes we can make."
So, the coach has no ideas how to fix this? So, if you can't help, step down. Quit. Admit you dont know what to do. Be a man. Own it. Just get out of the way and let this team move on. |

LEt me tell you this. I would def mix up the lines tomorrow. I would keep the first line as is after that, since they all have the equal of talent (except MArtin) I would basically pick froma hat. I think you put Grabner Martin and Cizikas as your second line. Drop Nielson to the third line with ullstrom and lets say Mcdonald. Okposo on the fourth or on the bench with Aucoin and who ever is left. Maybe it is time to bring up Nino. I know the Islanders hate him right now but he is probably better than half the team right now.
Also Iw ould bench Crappy as coach and give it to Thompson or Weight. Let him sit up in the press box with KO. |

I heard that interview after the game. No wonder the team does not respond. He's helpless as well as the GM and the players know it. |

Moulson-Tavares-Martin
Ullstrom-Cizikis-Grabner
Boyes-Nielsen-Bailey
Mcdonald-Reasoner-Boulton
Hamonic-Visnovsky
Streit-Finley
Martinek-Hickey
Bench Okposo, Aucoin and MacDonald.
Shake things up...
And to tell you the truth Id think about benching Streit... But we have no one to take his place. |

Never will happen. There are ways to fix it but there is no pressure to win here so he dont have to do anything. Wang could care less Cappy is clueless and besides a couple of guys on the team no one else feels the urgency to do much.

What Cappy's saying is.
Aside from our top line. We arent very talented. We have no one to bring up. And no immediate help in sight. Its JT MM & Boyes or bust. Nothing I can do will change this. Nothing I can do will make this bunch better. |
