I would suck ur Richard for duchene .... And 2 think Burke could have trade schenn 2 tb and drafted him - The_Vark
And to think Burke could have traded Kaberle and what turned out to be Kadri for Kessel and the leafs could have still kept their picks - which turned out to be hamilton and Seguin.
But coulda, shoulda, woulda.....who knows. |

Avs wont want two Dmen....plus the leafs would be foolish to give up two dmen.
It would be Gardiner, 2nd and Kulemin...or Gardiner , 1st, McGegg or another offensive forward prospect. - Fakepartofme
you could get a lot more than O'Reilly for Gardiner and a first, especially when that first could be a lottery pic |

Oh I agree.
Hence, why I wouldn't do the trade. |

that the avs wont want. - Fakepartofme
And you know how?
Like the Ducks didn't want Beauchemin, no team would of traded for Lombardi, ect ect
Calgary wouldnt want spare parts for their best Dmen. |

If that's what it would take, the Leafs should have nothing to do with O'Reilly. He isn't the top line center we need and that package is too much for a 2nd line center which we already have filled multiple times over. |

Ya neither of those trades were for a high end young offensive and defensive forward.
At the time it was Beauchemin for a young D prospect and a salary dump of an often injured player.
Calgary wanted Phaneuf out of town...Burke robbed them.
Lombardi was traded for a round draft pick...big deal...no one said he couldnt be traded.
Think about it. |

Jake has proved nothing, Kuli has not played well in 2 years...I'd do it..
Jake needs to be able to stay healthy, he has to prove that. He is hardly Justin Schltz. -1 in the AHL, and has not shown this big offensive side, why not, do the deal. |

Didn't you just say I was being unrealistic??? make up our mind.

They didn't say anything, so I don't think so. It was just to clean up scar tissue from the original surgery. |

I have no problems with dealing Kuli.....but Gardiner has been injured this year only.....he had a conscussion....it would be foolish to deal him based on that.
Patience. |

I want to be positive too, but also realistic. they said at least a week, that doesn't mean count exactly 1 week forward and he's ready. I see it as at least 2 weeks. He was cut open and had his knee scoped. the stitches alone to heal are 2 weeks. - burn
It would only be a small hole in his knee, or 2..
He can play through that.. |
