Someone at Sportsnet recently wrote a great article about Orr's comeback. After a couple seasons with Wilson his career was basically over. A few months with Eakins and he's a brand new guy. Go figure. Eakins is such a huge part of this organization. Sooner or later they're going to lose him to an NHL team and that will be a shame because he's exactly the kind of guy you want working with your prospects.

What happened to the Nucks fans comparing goalie stats?

Ignoring the fact that O'Reilly is actually a bit younger than Gardiner.

For those that are up in arms about trading Gardiner to COL for ROR, I wonder if the solution is to put an offer sheet on ROR, although if it hasn't happened alread I guess its not to likely a scenario.

What would compensation be? a 1st and a 3rd, might be worth the risk if you think you're gonna finish higher in the standings, but would be awful if you finished bottom 5.

If you pulled it off, then trade the likes of Liles, Grabo and even Kulimen to recover the loss of picks with decent minor league prospects.

I'd rather not give up a 1st in this draft.
