I feel Fraser is a perfect 5/6 dman. does what he is supposed to do.. The +11 doesn't lie.. He helps keep that puck out of his net

It will definitely be interesting to see what the Leafs do with all the dmen they have. Logic dictates they will trade one, not necessarily O'Reilly and not necessarily right now but by the deadline for sure. I think it is fair to assume komi will be an amnesty buyout in the off season. But even with that we still have too many guys back there, so why not move one now for help where we need it? I could see Liles, Gunnar or even Gardiner being moved. But I guess we will see.

They won't trade Gards unless they get an offer they can't refuse. He's probably the best skater they have.

K,, well ill give you the benefit of the doubt that you may understand Carlyles system a little better than i do. I tend to watch what the forwards are doing most of the time.
- Arctic_AARDVARK

You don't even need to what the D that intensely to know though. Who hits, fights, blocks more shots than him??

Fraser is 2nd in hits 4th in blocks, tied for the lead in fights. No of those other guys listed bring that. We need one guy like that back there. Seems like a perfect RC guy and 6-7 guy.

Oiii. The old "i got to whl games" thing. Lolll. We all have, and none of us our scouts. I was on a line with Kyle Turris for the Burnaby Exprss in an exhibition game playing JR. A, it doesn't mean i know he deserves top line minutes in the NHL (aka the best league in the world). Rielly is an undeniable talent on a terrible team, and he carries them very impressively. That said if he makes it, it will be because he outright won the job and shows he can play head and shoulders above the competition. He needs to earn what he has by producing in a top 4 role, he can't just make it because he has amazing qualities capable of doing the job. We have room for 3 offensive minded defensemen at the very most Phaneuf will be one of them, Gardiner will be another. Rielly will have to beat out Gunnarsson, Kostka and Liles, for the other spot if theyre still here, and thats no easy task.

next year:

Phaneuf-Gardiner
______- Holzer
Fraser - Franson

Oiii the old "i played Jr A" thing. Trades will be made.

Played with alot of NHLers. My bro Derek Grant just played his first game against us the other night! Our first goal went off his chest on his first NHL shift LOL.

Well it's a value thing too. It's easy to say "I would trade Kostka" but what value does he get you? A 5th rounder? Maybe a 4th? Gards would bring in more, so unless he's going to see a lot of minutes then it might make sense to trade him or gunnar.

Shiet eh, same team as Bozak. Bozak ripped it there, apparently they were paying him under the table though which is completely illegal lolll.

Gunnar i think will be moved. I think Nonis understands that it's a bigger risk to trade a guy with so much upside.

Ya like that one season over 50 points.
The kid will cost too much......Leafs aren't getting him unless they get robbed in the deal.

Agree 100%.
No way in hell does he come out of the line-up. Not as long as Carlyle is calling the shots.

I agree he looks good....but not worth the price it will cost the leafs to outbid the other teams.
