If I was forced to choose one of the 3 as a #1 center, I go with Bozak.

It's the team's biggest need right now. Bozak would be a great third line centre, but the Leafs will never go anywhere with him as their number 1.

The reality of this is that if the Leafs intend on sign/trading for in a true #1 center Bozak is gonna be the odd man out..

His agent will ask for $3 mill per for like 5 years. Nonis will counter with $2.5, so than if Bozak's agent agrees to that he'll demand like a 2 year term.

Hope and praying isn't a great team management strategy. If they could get O'Reilly, I'd definitely do it, and still go after Getzlaf. Teams with more than two top centres generally find a place to put them.... Kopitar, Richards, Carter are all centres. A lot of teams have several of them, and move one to the wing. I'd rather that than not have 2 good ones.
If it came to it, you trade off Grabovski.

Too bad the Avs wouldn't be interested in a package that included Grabovski. This way we could keep Bozak with Kessel & O'Reilly would be a MUCH better 2nd line center than a 1st. Also I'd rather him as the Leafs 2nd line center than Grabbo. |

That's why Bozak up untill now has been the default #1 center & will continue to be so untill an obvious replacement is obtained via a trade, or a UFA
